forgotten SP's???

Thanks for doing your part Rissy!!  I am sure that there has to be some perfectly good reasons why folks dont reply- illness, family troubles, work troubles, etc.... Don't stop TRYING, okay??  Maybe they are just on extended vacation or something?  Or maybe you can try other avenues to try to get a response out of them?  I know that some people get into "funks" and just dont want to participate with anything for a little while.... If you need ideas, let me know!

I LOVE my Secret Pal; both the Secret Pal that I'm giving to and the Secret Pal that is giving to me!  But the "forgotten SP" thing makes me so sad!  Some of my favorite people on here have been forgotten! Even though I ADORE my pals, I think Vicki had a good idea about starting over; not right away, but maybe we could amend our exchange to be a six month exchange rather than a year long exchange?  That way in June or so everyone would have a fresh start?   If we did, I think it would be important to maybe not use Elfster, but rather do it the old fashioned way of just drawing names out of a hat, and someone could have a master list of who is assigned to who.  That way if someone wasn't responding, we could discreetly prompt them, and if they still didn't respond, we could reassign the person they are getting from to the person they are supposed to be giving to. Again, I personally LOVE my pals, but it would make me happy to know that the Secret Pal thing was resolved.   Janine, your secret pal made a nasty swipe on the gripe of the day post last week?  That's horrible!  I looked for it but I couldn't find it; what day was it?
