New Job

Well...you may recall I posted last week that I was expecting to start a new job this week. In the end, I decided that they were not offering enough pay, and passed on it.

HOWEVER, I signed a contract today to do a few days of database work at the Red Cross headquarters on the West Side, and then when that is done with I am contracted to a genetic screening clinic for a possible perm position getting THEIR database up and running. I am really excited about the genetics company, it is what I was studying in college before I got stupid and dropped out, and the work will involve a lot of actual scientific training and work, as well as the computer stuff.

Anyone who lives or works on the West Side wanna have coffee soon? =P

Hey Shells...don't call yourself stupid because you are far from it. I think that things happen for a reason and you were not meant to continue on in the direction you were going at the time. Maybe since this genetic job has presented itself to you could be like your hello wake up call once again to pursue a field in something that I think you are very interested in. Like I said things happen for a reason and look you did not take this other job and the genetic thing came up. What does that tell you?

Sounds like you are a real go getter if you ask me and think a lot about yourself and just do not settle! I really do hope that your hunting around leads to great possibilities!

Have a great Thursday gf! Kisses
