Its Whacky WeighIn Wednesday
No new numbers to report, but I did see an old friend on Monday who I have not seen since before surgery...
"Oh my God, WHO are you???"
He said he didn't recognize me and that I looked about 10 years younger. :)
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

I've never popped in for WWW, but I'll play today.
My scale this morning says 218, which is a loss of 36 pounds since my surgery 8.5 weeks ago.
I'm trying not to be a scale **** and flip out weighing in each day, but it's hard!
It's also hard when I'm always telling myself I should be losing faster.
I'll just take the 218 and be proud of it!
Okay, I think I need to play. I've been sick with this virus thing that won't go away. Going on week 3 now and still completely congested and feeling like I'm going to hack up a lung...soooooo I haven't been to the gym in almost a month. At first I was losing because I wasn't eating anything, but now that I'm feeling a tiny bit better the appetite's back, the metabolism is shot, and I've gained 2 pounds in two days. So, I'm posting for moral support. I can't exercise yet, but I'm going to try to get my protein shakes and stay away from too many carbs. Hopefully this up trend won't continue and I'll be able to get back to the gym.
Leaky in Los Angeles!
Good evening all!
I've just completed day 2 of the 5 day pouch test. Took in almost 1200 calories today, which is a lot for me, and reached 199g of protein. YIKES!!! Got in over 120 ounces of water and am just waiting for that tuna tomorrow!!
