AIRPLANE TRAVEL 1 MONTH POST OP
I did not have plans to travel at 1 month post op. I think you should be ok. I would just not do anything too strenuous that can harm you.
You might also take all of your medical information (surgeon info, doctor's name, phone, address, pcp's information, etc.). Just in case you need to see a doctor in TX in an emergency...ya never know!
Have fun!
Your best bet is to ask your Surgeon. Many have protocols about travel, they want you to avoid blood clots by sitting to long. You can call the docs office and clarify with him just to be sure.

Shardon,
I flew just short of 1 month after surgery. I was fine, just remember that you cant take water bottles with you through security, you have to buy them after. And if you are bringing any protein bullets you have to have them in a plastic bag and only 3oz bullets.
Since your going to Hawaii you might want to check with your surgeon before flying I only went to Vegas for a memorial service.
