Good Monday & Windy Morning Cali

And she huffed and she puffed and more so felt like clicking her heels and wanting to go home....WOW Good Windy Morning Cali!!! I am telling the winds have been blowing since yesterday and some super strong gust out here in the desert.   I guess some of you have even gotten sprinkles!

Well it is a lot of us teachers and support staff who are going back to work today after a spring break! YUCK!!! Oh yeah JudyAnne    who gets an extra day in observance of Cesar Chavez day. What a great person he was!

I am actually looking forward to seeing my students, but staff no. It seemed like a long week off in a good way. I really enjoyed having my friend her. I talked with her yesterday and she is full speed ahead selling her house in Georgia and moving here. I am very excited about that one! I really got to do a lot on this break....shopped, spent time at Joshua, hung out with Jeff, my kids and grandbabies....you named....oh yeah got inked...and shopped some more! The weather as great too until yesterday and I got a killer tan going already (yes Liz even with 30 block!). So I feel kind of rested and was totally glad for the seperation from work and the people I work with.

Today is MyMichele's surgery. I tried to grab a link to her support page, but right now it keeps saying there is an error on the page. If you get a chance, please go over to upcoming surgeries and try and get her support page filled up for her!

Jean and the LB gang, I bet you were shocked to have Monica and Jordyn show up and I am only sorry that I didn't wait to come! Monica and Jordyn look happy and wonderful!! Monica I know you have to be on cloud 9+ for sure! Okay lacking a bit of sleep too!

Speaking of Monica's....how cool is that that she is going to train to run the 1/2 marathon too! And Kim is going to join in. Speaks volumes as far as I am concerned and I for one is super proud ofthem!

Kim aka Madame Butterfly.....many congrats to you on making your low goal!! OMG you are my bestest hero for sure!!! I am so very proud of you for having that kind of determination and motivation to stick to your guns about making that low goal. I can just only imagine your elation and you had better start shopping ps docs! You know with this new determination there is nothng going to EVER going to stop you from achieving any kind of goal you set for yourself! YOU THE WOMAN!!

Vicki M...thanks for sharing your life in your reflection of being a civie 8 years out! EVERYONE read her blog...it is a GOOD read!  

BTW thank you everyone for the kudo's on the photo's of Joshua. I have so many more and hard to make a choice. I have always been a shot 'em gal and digital makes it even more easy to get what you want and not think of it as a one shot deal. Photography was my primary training and intro to the wondeful world of art....and you all know it has been history ever since!

So what did you all do this weekend? I want to hear and so does the rest of the board!

Good Morning Janine and Cali, Its been the longest 27 days of my life and the best. We are finally in the house, came home on Easter.  Unfortunately I had a gout attack so our first night was spent in the ER.  Jordyn is just my joy but sometimes at night I feel like I gave birth to Rosemary's baby.  She had a rough weekend because she had her tongue clipped on friday.  It was too tight and caused suckling issues.  Could have cause speech issues in the future so we made the decision to do it now. I hope everyone is doing well.  I haven't been near a computer too much buit since i'm usually doing 4am feedings I plan to get back into the swing of things. Enjoy the day Monica

Good Morning Calif........

Not much going on with me or my life today. Its the last of 12 hours. UGH! I am so beat, I just want to sleep and when the alarm went off this morning, I wanted to cry. ;-( But after today, I only have to shifts to work, before heading out for a week in cabo. Its not a cruise, its a week at Kevin's time share. I can't wait! Then when get home, I am going to start looking for a new job. I want away from the 12 hours shift. In a big way.

OK I guess that is all for now, not much more to say.

BTW: NO, you nor Susan can stow away with me. SORRY!

Good Morning Janine and the rest

Yes the photo's are beautiful. Your very talented in the photography field also.

Wishing you a wonderful day at school with np friction,nothing more then peace and contentment for you today.

Today is my hubby's birthday so he actually took the whole day off and just left with his boat and fishing equipmemt to meet up with our sone ro have a wonderful stinky fishinf day. LOL

I told him to cach a bunch of them today and to have a wonderful day. I'm hoping I can go with him on his next trip. I love fishing, just hate eating it of any kind. 

Well it looks as those the Gods are smiling down on me an making for another nice day for me. I have had so many of them lately, so I better not speak to loud and jinks it.

My weight is still coming off, and that's another blessing, so is my daughters. Yea for her.

Time to go and get a few things finshed up today. Hope my AC adapter comes today for my laptop so I can start using it again. Been having laptop  withdrawl bad these days. I have been spoiled going from a full keyboard 17 in screen to a small keyboard no ten key 13 in screen of my daughters. Guess it's better then nothing.

Everyone have an awesome monday even if you do have to work. I guess this day and age if your lucky enough to have a job it's better then no job at all.

Good Back-To-Work Monday to you and all the Cali Crew Janine! We didn't have all the wind you guys in the desert did over the weekend but it was cloudy and chilly and we did have a lot of drizzle and sprinkles off and on all day yesterday. Today and tomorrow is supposed to be pretty nice then some rain moving in for Wednesday. But next weekend sounds like it should be very nice and is only four more days to get to!!! I spoke with the surgeons office Friday afternoon and they had the insurance approval for my hernia surgery. We went ahead and scheduled it for Tuesday, April 15th. I am the first one up on the table that day and need to be at the hospital at 5:30am. My pre-op appointment is the Friday before. Can't wait to have this repaired now that is painful and limits my activities. I am convinced that it is caused, at least partially, by the hanging apron. Does anyone know what I need to have him note in my chart about that to get prepared to seek PS insurance approval? J? Liz? So I need to get my day underway. Hello there! Is it just me or is OH all hooey this morning?? I been having some troubles.  Oh well, it seems to have cleared up for now. Thanks for the shoutout on my blog.  It was funny, I was at the little mini-mart on base last night and this guy says to me "you look familiar, were you in the Navy about 7 years ago?"  I thought for a second and said 'actually, I got out 8 years ago to the day".  Of course, he probably just thinks I look like someone he knew because I didnt recognize him for nada.....but, it was neat to remember my anniversary! Anywho- gotta get the kiddos to school...I hope everyone has a wonderful morning! hugs to you! Vicki

Good Morning Happ Monday to all Cali! Its been cold and cloudy this morning but I thing its going to clear up later today ,,, I got alot of stuff done over the weekend and since I didn't go out I was able to catch up with some friends by phone calls ,,,,, My daughter turned 18 yesterday I cant believe it how time flies when your having fun I guess ,,, I looking forward to this weekend I hope I can go out for some dancing it feels so long since I've been able to let loose ,,, well back to work for me ,,, *Christine*    

Go****'s noon and I'm still laying here in bed.  Thank goodness for Cesar Chavez!  Actually, I've already been out shopping this morning and got everything I need for the 5 Day Pouch Test which I start tomorrow!  I'm excited and hope I can make it all five days.  Wish me luck!!!   We had rain here Sat night and Sunday morning.  Today the sun is kinda out, but no wind.  I really am back in my jammies because I am on day 17 of this killer cold - chest congestion, stuffy nose, etc.  I'm going  to lay here today and watch movies!  Take care everyone and have a great day!
