Good TGIF Morning to all!

WOW it is TGIF already....what about that? I know all of us teachers and all other support staff have been off work this week, but sheesh Louise where has it gone?

Lot of things this week:

Starters....lets give up some prayers and good thoughts for Vicki. I know you all support her, but please be extra kind and keep all the positive thoughts for her. I know personally all to well what she is going through and it is no fun!

Sue hopefully is on the mend with her kidney stones....I hope that you can pass it Sue without them having to zap you or have to go through much more pain!

Let's not forgot our Miss Lynnie!!! Thanks Vicki for posting on what is going on with her. I knew something had to be wrong for you especially not to hear from her. Keep Lynnie in your prayers everyone, she has been one sick cookie for sure!

Lori C had a birthday yesterday which I failed to remember until later.... better late than never....and Terri L celebrated a birthday and came out of hiding!!!

Jean I hope you are doing a bit better after losing your fur baby of so many years. You really did do the right thing even though it was a very difficult decision.

DeAnna poor baby....as I wrote to you already....you have come so far....don't feel humbled...just go back and revisit this experience next year and feel like Rocky Balboa!!!

Oh yeah Cali gang...show that famous loving and go show your support to Cburgin (a new member)...she has a date and for some reason I cannot copy and paste a link to her support page, but her I got a date post is not far from this post...so please hop on over there and show some support for her!

And what about JenDenni....she could use some extra good thoughts thrown her way as she has to have yet another CT scan for some stuff going on with her lymphs....show your famous Cali lovin gang!

LuLu....you created a flurry of SP excitement. That is cool. I know some of the people have come out of hiding because of it....others have not....oh they are around, but choose to be who they are!

Lu you never did post or perhaps I missed it, but what happened with the 8 hour shift thing?

 

So gang...what is going on for the weekend? Yeah it is that time of the week to hear whatcha got planned.

I know for myself I have to get into the mindset of going back to school. Few chores to do like clean up guest room and bathroom, but other than that, Jeff and I are going to Joshua tomorrow. I do not want himto miss out on how spectacular it look there right now with all the wildflowers. I am watching Hunter tonight so his parents can have a date night too! I am hoping that Ava will come over and play. I had her for a while yesterday so her daddy could finish up a side job. You know all you experienced grannys told me how great it would be to be a granny myself....but it sure exceeded my wildest expectations!

Its about time your got this thing up. I have been waiting for a long time....

About the 12. HR was just screwing with us, letting us thinking they where trying to help. One of the girls in the meeting, when I brought up that I made a 8 hours shift schedule and that I would like to pass it around, got kind a of pissy and said. This is NOT about going back to 8, I don't know why you want to brother us with that, you are never going back to eights. So, I asked her they why are we here, waisting my time??? I am the only MUCs in the house, And I have to run all 5 units. Because these 12 are so great. But, YOU are not doing them neither are any of the others that are forcing us to do them. And if there are soo wonderful, why arent you and there others doing them??? I didn't get a answer.

I was very upset that they can treat us like that. The union is still working on it, but I hold out no hope. I did ask ask a friend to check out my resume, but have not heard back from him. So they might not have the time. I have found a place that you pay someone to help you, but with my travel plans I can go that way, right now. I will work on it when we return.

I didn't mean to start anything with the secert pal. It seem like everyone but 3 of us have great and wonderful SP. I still think its that mine dont like me and there for wont play. And that is alright. I just hate that others, You and Catt, are not feeling loved either. I think you done a great job with this Janine, You begged people to be honest about weather they thought they could keep it up a year or not. And if it was a not, DO NOT JOIN!!!. Oh well, life goes on. BUT, I wonder, is my secert pal someone that posted what a great SP they have?? I should keep that post, for the big day. Then re post it.

GOod morning Janine and all my cali buds Yep, friday once again - and although I am not a teacher and on vacation this week it has still flown by.  thanks for the kind words about the loss of my "baby".  Iknow I did the right thing but you are so right, it is still hard.  The other kittys miss her too but they are doing better, the first couple of days were weird - they were acting depressed and looking around (kind of like their momma - me) Not alot  planned for me this weekend except for our LB Coffee tomorrow - woo hoo - that always cheers me up.  Oh and I bought a bicycle yesterday so I plan to start riding around to get some more exercise....but its been so long since I rode a bike I hope I still can.....and I even bought a geeky helmet to wear but better safe than sorry .  So I am excited for some good weather to begin riding around my little community here in Leisure World. Everyone have a great Friday and a great weekend....I need some coffee.... Hugs to all

Ah I read you got a bike.  Ya better watch out I will get you out to Leisure World on that bike ad take you for a ride.  Only kidding I Love my bike and getting out on the road.  Ya know the helmet its not geeky. Hey Jean,.....

I plan on getting a bike also. I only work 3 miles for home, so that would 6 miles a day. Right now with the working 12 hours shift,  I don't get to run much and I find I miss that.

Have fun with your bike, and remember, its always great to just get out and move. Enjoy it!

Good Morning Cali Friends! Thanks for the support Janine, I really appreciate it!  Oh yes!  TGIF!!!  What a week it has been! My Grandson called last night and left a voice mail on my cell saying, "Grandma, I just want to ask you that you are the bestest Grandma and I love You more!  I want to tell you I want to stay the weekend with you"  So, I will have my boy!  He melts my heart!!!   That little guy can be pure sunshine in a thunder storm! Anyway, they are having some Nascar races up here in Roseville this weekend.  My sister really wants me to go with her and her husband but I'm not sure.it sounds fun, but it is hard to hold Tommy's attention for very long.  We may have to find something differrent.  Maybe I can ask if I can have his brother Benny too.  Benny lives with the other Grandparents.......He is so cute! and just a love too! Other than that not much going on except the usual, cleaning house, laundry etc. I have the CT Scan today at 4:00, and I'm sure it will be fine.  i just wish I knew what the heck??? Good morning Janine and Cali and TGIF!!! I forgot to mention how beautiful the wildflower pictures were yesterday. Stunning! I went back to work yesterday and boy was I tired by the end of the day. My Kidney is sore and I feel like I've been kicked. The stone is still in there but not really causing the bad pain. Sammi's Birthday Party is tomorrow so I actually hope it hangs out in there until after the party is over.  Sending good thoughts out to all the Cali folks going through things right now. It's been a heck of a year so far! Hope everyone has a great day! Sue

Morning! I am still chuckling (now) about that a-hole yesterday.... you know what else he told me to do?  Go volunteer at a pet shelter- seriously.  He was trying to get to the point that stress plays into pain (and I can see that), but I just chuckle at that now.  He also said that my abnormal nerve tests were a joke and didnt mean anything.  My sister was so pissed at the way he treated me, she wants to me to write a review on him on one of the rate a doctor-type forums.  I am letting it go- I will never have to deal with him again anyway...If anyone ever needs a neurosurgeon in Bakersfield, make sure you get in contact with me so that I can give you this d!ckhead's name, so that you WON'T go to him!! Anyway- this week has been a little crazy, with my bday, driving to take my kids to my MIL's house, driving to Bako, then driving to pick them up again...that I am behind in my art class for this week.  Granted, the teacher didnt even post a new assignment until Tuesday evening- but, I have been so tired and been going to sleep and waking up with a headache every day this week, I am going to ask him to extend the assignment for me.  It is due by 8pm tonight- hopefully, he will be cool about it. Let's see- have the OH lunch tomorrow, my SIL is taking the kids Saturday night to work on something for my bday (I am guessing) and then Sunday, we are having a family get together for my bday.  The last week and a half has been all about my bday...lol Oh and Mike told me that he may be home as early as this coming Friday....although, I won't count on that until he sends me his itinerary (sp?). Alrighty then, off to take the kids to school! hugs!
