revision plastic surgery???????????
I had a TT, breast implants and bracioplasty a year ago in may. My results were not good. I have tons of loose skin in my upper abdomen, sides , etc...my PS didnt do the anchor mastopexy as we discussed so i have too much loose skin and a big sag in the breast that are a DD size.. my arms didnt do much better. one is ok.. but has a huge glob of fat at the elbow..and the other arm has a ton of skin hanging.all in all i dont look very good.
I went tosee him to discuss a revsion he was rude and acted like i was lucky to look as good as i looked after my 170 lbs loss and 13 lbs of skin removed from my pannis.he at 1st wanted to re charge me money but re considered and will do the revision for the OR and anestesia fees as promised.. problem is.. will it be any better if i allow him to re do this? i am so afraid...
dont get me wrong i am so grateful..but these results are not what i paid for.. and are not great. I have since researched post bariatcric PS and have had consultations with who i consider to be specialist in this field..I think i know what needs to be done to correct this.. but willl my surgeon know???
I feel this huge sence of responsibility to others who may use this surgeon and have similar results...I see that you really have to see a specialist. normal procedure dont work on us.. i want a revision and have to confront this PS.Try to reson with him and make him see this isnt personal. i am not nit picking.. i just think he needs to have professional integrity for his work and want to fix it... specialists are that by mistakes and working through theissues..
He really needs to learn from this mistake and profect these surgeries if he plans on doing any other post gastric bypass pateients..
my ps a year ago was paiful and life threatning.. i shutter to think of re doing it again..but my results are so bad...
any advise?anyone else have the same problems as i did..surley i know i must not be alone in this..
I agree with Janine. Dr. Katzen is awesome!!! and most of his patients are post bariatric.
And... I had my tummy tuck redone as well because the first one left too much skin. I chose to check out others and NOT have the same one redo it, even if it did cost more.
