ok someone pinch me.. because I am in a dream land.. trust me, you could have blown me over with a whistle whenI saw this post. I had OH email and couldn't quite figure out why. As those new people can swear.. nobody knows who I am anymore.. I have passed the OH "knowledge" torch to those that have come after me, unless I get a specific email asking for advise or help. But this board and these people remain 'my family".  All of my very best friends I found on this site. Gene is correct, I have spent many a day at a new patients bedside, welcoming them into the new world of Bariatric surgery, I was even there to watch one of us leave when surgery didnt save his life.

To be POTW seems like cheating. As I noted in my anniversary post, I am far from perfect, I was so good for so long, preaching to make new habits, learn to live the new life.  I need to listen to those words myself.

OH board, thank you for the support, the friendship and the honor of knowing you all and being welcomed (even when I am absent).

Hugs.  Eveyone who knows you knows that you are honest about this surgery. One of the very things I love about you most.  You don't pull any punches.  I also know that even if you aren't  on this board often, you are still a great support to so many on here via emails, phone calls and IM's.   T.

So nice to see your smiling face!  You are quite deserving of the honor of POTW!!!  Stand tall and have a great week in the spotlight.

Hey Stace......I was just thinking the utter day about all the great things you did for our newbies. I was also thinking about the S.D.A.R.T that was organized in your town and how much a lot of you did. You were there for a lot of peeps.........including moi.

Hats off to you.....and I hope you enjoy your week. I thought of you as I passed through your town on my way home from Sea World today.
