Aetna insurance

Hi :) I was at the beginning of Kaiser Bariatric program in Richmond and now my husband's company switched to Aetna starting Arpil 1.  Has anyone had experience with Aetna?  Reading through their qualifications, they have so many hoops to jump through and I'm about out of my mind trying to figure it all out.  Kaiser was cut and dried and now this is just a mess.  I wonder if I will even be approved now.  Just wondering if anyone has experience with Aetna. hi i had aetna... it wasnt that bad... there r hoops but it came thru....

Carla, Did you have the HMO or the PPO?  We haven't yet chosen which one (HMO** or else PPO Open choice.)  I don't know even where to start.  I guess a new PCP for referral.  Or, maybe they can use my Kaiser Dr's referral.  I'm extremely frustrated!  I was looking at Aetna site and they don't list any bariatric Dr's at all.  How do you find one?  Can you share what your experience was with Aetna?
