funny wow moment

Last night I got to have dinner with a long-time friend that I don't get to see very often. The last time I saw her I think I was about 2-3 months post-op. So she arrives at my apartment and I come down so that we could go get some sushi/sashimi...

I get in the car and she's freaked out.

Moe!! (my old nickname) You're so skinny!!! Oh my god!

So I have to do the whole update thing and tell her how much I've lost blah, blah, blah...(She knows I had WLS)

We're driving to dinner and we're talking...well, I'm talking. She's just STARING at me.

"What? What are you looking at?"

"Moe, you look so good!"

She made me feel so weird but I think I just wasn't used to that much attention.
