Surgery in Fresno anyone?

I'm new to the site. My name is Jen and I'm having surgery with Dr, Higa on the 15th of April and my preop is Thrusday March 26th. I have been over weight all my life and can't wait to be a healthy weight. I'm scared, nervouse and excited all at once. Has anyone gone through it with Dr, Higa. I meet him in Nov. for the consult and then had to do the tests that he asked for and then he sent it to the insurance for approval which only less then a week. I was shocked on how fast it started happening.

Hi Jen .. I had my surgery with Dr. Higa's partner, Dr. Boone. I did see Dr. Higa while I was in the hospital he came and checked up on me. He is a super nice guy, very thorough. You are in good hands, ALSA is the best! Good Luck!

Lea and Jenn, Thank you for the info. I really liked him when I first met him. I know that I wll be asking many more question and I'm looking forward to getting to know people that are going through or have gone through the same thing.

Jen I don't know if you saw this post or not but it is for those of us living in the Centeral Valley. I will be there I hope you can make it. If so let Brian know and he will give you the dirrections. There will be both Dr. Higa's patiend there and his partner Dr. Boone.
