Anyone know a good PCP they can refer me to...

Hello all, I was hoping to get info from anyone in Sacramento or any surrounding areas that have had a good experience with their doctor. I'm changing my insurance also to Health Net..not sure if Pacificare is better... Any advice would be helpful. Thank You...

Hello there =) I'm in Modesto which isn't TOO far away from you. I also have Pacificare. They approved me for my surgery over night =) They were nothing but speedy throughout the whole process and I love them. My PCP is Dr. Belissary here in Modesto. She actually sits on the board of doctors who approve/deny gastric bypass requests for Sutter Gould Pacificare so she is very familiar with the requirements etc. I really like her but it is of course an individual preference. i LOVE pacificare. i was like.. 9 weeks from the day i asked my pc for a referal until the day i was on the table. i like dr jody gordon for primary care, she's in downtown sac near sutter gen. my surgeon was dr jenkins in auburn through sutter faith auburn. he's awesome, his staff is great and the hospital staff was just... super super wonderful. i cant say enough good things about the whole process. best wishes.
