For the last couple of days my pouch has been grumbling hungary at about 4 am. I have tried to just go back to sleep but that does not work. I must get up and have some water (which lasts about 1 hour) or I have some protien drink.

I am a little worried about this and certainly wanting to sleep a wee bit longer. Any Ideas????????

For me, when that happens, I have to look at what I had for dinner. To many carbs? Yap, that is what it is most times for me. Or when I just plan to forget to eat. Stop and take a long hard look at what you are eating before bed.

I hope this helps.

I have learned that if I eat a slice of cheese before going to bed, it really helps. In fact last night I had some apple and cheese and it worked even better. Try so kind of protein before you go to bed it lasts longer in your body. Good luck!

Hi, Gloria...

Sometimes, i think our pouches are just trying to teach us how to use them...like, if it seems hungry at 4 am...feed it! You know, just a little something handy...a FF string cheese, for example, and then crawl back into bed and sleep...

I'm almost three years out and that still happens to me at times... sometimes I choose to sleep through it, while other times I get up and nosh!

I get off work at 12:30am and I'm always starving by the time I get into bed. I do eat a little protein before I go to sleep- just  a little. Try a Light String Cheese or a tablespoon of cottage cheese...that usually helps me!
