Happy Easter Sunday Cali

Wow Easter all ready eh Gang? Hard to believe and so early this year! I remember the year my oldest son was born it was the like into April as I thought my son might be an Easter baby, he didn't come for another 8 days after that!

It will be a splendid day indeed for all those new Easter dress. Up it in SF area when I was growing up, I prayed for good weather because I did not want to have to wear an icky coat over my new Easter dress when we went to church. Hat, gloves and all.....I use to be so excited!

Today...well another story. I denounced traditional organized religion to believing there is a great force than myself after my fanatical mother shoved her beliefs on me. However, I still respect others belief in their choice of worship. I think it is great in fact!

It is going to be another glorious day weather wise here. It was in the 90's here yesterday and I cruised all over the place with top down on my car....woohoo....have great tan lines in spite of block.

I really look forward to spending time with my family and friends today. Isn't that what life is all about really?

I hope you all have a wonderful day however you choose to celebrate Easter!!!! Keep the ones  you love close to your heart and remember there are people here that need our prayers, good wishes and support!

Happy Easter Janine and all my cali buds. Wow - can you believe it is here already - and spring is definitely in the air.  I had a great day yesterday - pretty much a me day - went to the pool, swam and exercised and laid out in sun a little - it was such a great day.  THen last night went to dinner at my sisters house with her kids and grandkids (since they won't be at her house today).  No big fancy dinner just BBQ burgers and Baked beans and such.  ANd yeah for me I just ate the meat - no bread and a few beans.....well and 1 1/2 glasses of wine.... today is up in the air - not sure what is going on - but I do plan on a trip to the pool again.   So - time for me to go watch my BB9 showtime after dark that I DVR and read the paper and have some coffee. Everyone have a great Easter and enjoy whatever you do Janine - give those babies a squeeze for me..... Hugs to all

Uggg I love Easter....its the day after Easter I hate when all the candy goes half price. Please Lord, give me strength!!!

HAPPY EASTER!

 Morning to you and all the Cali Crew Janine! It looks to be a gorgeous day again here in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains!!! Yesterday was beautiful, warm and sunny and clear air as a result of some mild Santa Ana winds we are having here below the Cajon Pass.... nothing to get me and the dogs worked up about, just a nice breeze with some stronger gusts. Nice weather for the first weekend of spring and the Easter holiday! I worked in the garden for a few hours yesterday, with no shirt on even, just shorts (that's new since losing the weight!), and got some sun on my pale skin. Downside is I ended up in bed with an ice pack on my hernia. I'll never learn I guess! Last weekend I overdid it too and was really in some pain I tell ya. So I broke down and made an appointment to see the surgeon D had do his hernia surgery. I see him tomorrow and will get ready to have my hernia repaired. D didn't have much pain, just some discomfort. Mine hurts and burns if I overdo it so it is limiting my physical activity and new, more active life! Time to get a move on here, going to Mom's for Easter brunch soon, so I will close by wishing everyone a blessed and fun Easter!

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

It felt like summer here in LB yesterday, and I enjoyed every minute of it...did some clothes shopping and found that I love Coldwater Creek's stuff... and, they are having a great sale right now!

Dad is hanging in there...tomorrow I will go and sit with him while my mom and sis get some time out to go shopping...plus, I am just happy to sit with my father and to be with him... any way that I can help out is just a joy, to be honest, and coming from this girl who was the classic rebellious middle child...that's nothing short of a miracle!!
