I was reading your page and noticed at 2 weeks the same thing happened.  I have been on these boards for almost 3 years and I have read this but still doubting myself.  I think we become a slave to the scale because we see the numbers drop, and we are excited.  I think we become discouraged when weight loss slows down, because like old times it would stop and we didn't lose anymore, or we think we are doing something wrong........now it is the metal stage of our journey.........OH BOY......... You are doing Awesome, and I am glad to be a part of this club Mama!!!!! Annabelle

You are so early in your loss!! Congrats, but don't drive yourself up a wall!! I found that early on, within my first 6 months, I would have a steady losing streak of about 4-6 weeks. Then I'd have a steady NOTHING streak of 1-2 weeks. So frustrating, especially since my old job had a scale and I'd check daily. I noticed, though, in that steady nothing span of 1-2 weeks, my clothes started to fall off. So i took it as my body catching up with the pounds lost. My body would take a cuople weeks to shift and shimmy back into match the numbers it reflected.  You're two weeks out ... CHILL WOMAN. It will all come in its time. Don't compare yourself to anyone else on here and DON'T weigh daily. Toss the scale out!!

Been there done that, more than once.  I am the queen of stalls.  Been on stalls throughout the entire time I have had surgery, drop alot and stop for months, then drop again.  I know it is how I am losing. so I no longer fret about it.  After losing 34 lbs in my first month, I went on a 5 weeks stall. That was after 3 weeks.  So it happens to all of us.  Instead of the scale, take your measurements and see if they are changing, you will be surprised. So relax, you will be fine. Diane

We all go through this.  I'm not even three months out, and get them all the time.  I've gained weight b4 too, and everytime right before my cycle, I gain a few.  Keep up the great work, and it will come off!  The nurse at my surgeons office said often our body will hold onto the weight, but inches still come rolling off, so not to worry!  You are looking great, keep it up!!!
