Update on my ovaries
I got to see my primary doctor yesterday. I love her. If someone you know is looking for a WLS-friendly doctor in the Long Beach area she's the best. It was the first time she's seen me since surgery and she was excited at how far I've come, she called me 'skinny' and told me I looked 10 years younger...if that's possible.
Anyhow.....
She wants to run my bloodwork and she ordered a pelvic unltrasound (to check for cysts). She just wants to make sure that everything is ok before prescribing me anything. The doctor is concerned that my iron levels may be low because my cycles have been so heavy.
My gyno appointment is now on Thursday. (long story) I went to the wrong office.
So my vacation day on Thursday will be spent going to a few different labs getting poked and prodded.
I joked with a friend that someone needs to sit down and have a long talk with my ovaries and explain that the rapid weight-loss is no reson to be freaking out and that they need to calm down. :)
I'll keep you posted.....thank you to everyone who gave me great advice and support yesterday.

Glad to hear that things are being investigated, Monica...the most uncomfortable thing about the pelvic ultrasound for me was that you have to drink tons of water prior to it, and you CANNOT go the the bathroom for the first part of the test...when the bladder is full of liquid, it makes for an easier view through it... that's the way I understood it...
Other than that, it's no big deal...
Good luck at your appt on Thursday...sure you know where you are going this time? LOL...
