You are such a sweetheart. Thank you for all of the support and encouragement. I never knew how important it would be for me to have such wonderful friends as I do with you and others here at OH.
It's nice to have my daughter doing this with me, but its also so nice to know that others like yourself know how hard this is and are behind me 100%.
Thank you for reminding me that I can do whatever I put my mind to, My mom and dad use to tell me that all the time. I miss that, but you helped that a lot.

Hi Cali! It is time for me to get serious. I am pre-op and finished my Kaiser Options classes and all of my labs. My labs came back horrible!!! I have the highest blood sugar and BP ever in my life and I went from no meds to a gajillion in less than a week. I started the week at 299 and I am now at 295. So, I am down 4 lbs! I am off to a good start. I won't be able to have surgery until summer due to school and I am counting the days.

Last week I weighed in at 199.8 and this week I'm weighing in at 195.6 --- That's a loss of 4.2lbs Yeah!!!
I'm still in the walking class/group and this week I started weight lifting. I went on Tues. and now I am sooooo sore. I've heard from some that weight training will slow down my weight loss - I sure hope not or it might have to go.
I have challenged myself to lose 18 lbs by Memorial Day - That would be 2 lbs a week and a weight of 177. As long as I have a goal, I can focus and stay on track - I should be able to do it. Nine weeks and 18lbs.
As usual I am a day late and a dolllar short...I have lost 7 pounds since my consult with Dr. Zorn on Feb. 22. Wooohooooo!!! I am now fitting in jeans that I haven't worn in about 6 months. Yayyyyyyy!!!
