I am an emotional eater

Okay that last part had me laughing about wanting the cookie. My son had to stay home today and is at his dad's house. I spoke with the principal and I was told that my son gets mad and has a temper. He had written everything down that my son has done this past year to lead up to this "last straw" suspension. The first one on the list- throwing paper airplanes in the library. WTF? That is just CRAZY.  All of this surprises me because at home he's an angel. He is so well behaved and such a good caring boy. I don't know, maybe I am just a little one sided because he's my boy.  Thanks for the advice and you have a wonderful day my friend, Hugs, Jaime

Keep sight of that one Little One because me forgetting I was an emotional eater cost me some poundage. I am so happy that you got it this early out too!!!

I think we can all admit me are emotional eaters, that is what lead us to WLS. Most of us were not over eaters. I sure know I was not....okay well a steady grazer. I was so miserably unhappy and in a vicious circle. All I know is that I am grateful for the space I am in now because I could have ate 50 lbs back with what I have just gone through recenty at work!

You know that is bs about your son getting suspended for throwing a ball...big deal really. I do not know if TJ's principal has a no tolerance policy, but that is ridiculous for such a small infraction. At the school where I am at...wow students get to lie and steal and they can still walk in my classroom and have no consequences...wondering where the equitity is for your son and throwing a what...rubber ball? Not like he was trying to "shank" the other kid. I bet TJ had enough integrity about himself not to say well he did it first kind of stuff!

Just hang in there Jaime....you are doing great...and you know who your son is even though the principal doesn't! Kisses

Thanks Janine, I guess on the positive side I picked the vegtables and soy crisps instead of the buttermilk cookies, cupcakes and other poison they had out. But, I did realize I was only eating because I was upset with the principal and the school.  You are looking beautiful by the way.. Thanks for your support and love, Jaime

Hang in there! I am so sorry they werent more understanding but I am glad that you went and spoke with them. Showed them that they cant just do what they want without you questioning it.  I would ask if the other kid got in trouble too. It seems very one sided to me if only your little guy got in trouble.
