A bit of the Irish Luck Monday to you all!
So as you gulp that 
greens suds (okay in our minds) and eat those Irish meals and pinch those who are not wearing green and cop a 
from whomever you can know that today even though it is Monday it will be a good day....just 4 more until Friday and for some of us, the countdown for spring break!!! As JudyAnne said to me last night, 5 days or 40 hours and we are well on our way to PAaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrtay time! Now that is enough to make you wanna do an Irish jig!!! 
I want to thank all of you who stepped up and signed Rissy support page. Leah wrote that she never reads the SP posts, I understand. However in this case it would have been a real bummer if Rissy went off to surgery today thinking we did not care about her!! So a huge thank you to all of you who sent her off with some well wishes!
So did you all have a good weekend? Me thinks I did even though I felt like I was slammed busy. I am glad I ventured out of the desert and then yesterday shared some cheer with some good friends.
Today I have my kids over for their annual St Patty's dinner. My son's are part Irish and have never missed a traditional St. Patty's dinner for them. Next year my grandbabies ought to be able to eat a St. Patty's meal too!!! YIPPIE!!!
I do not know if I posted this and it woud not be a big deal, but I got to feed Ava her first solid meal on Saturday. The doctors would not let her eat until they were sure that she grew out of the apena as they were worried about her choking in her sleep if she reguritated. It was way cool to feed her. She ate her rice ceral and bananna right up! Hunter is supposed to go on a bit of rice ceral now too. Wow it goes quick eh?
Liz are you feeling any better? Please lets us know if you enjoyed a MM ****tail and also when you hear about Lindsey....we really care for all of you!
Jodi...how are you doing gf? Have you heard anything at all yet? I have been trying to understand a bit of your BB talk....but one of these seasons, I might have to tune in at the beginning to understand all the talk and fun a lot of you have here!
Diane it was great to see you post here and I hope that your PT appointment goes well today. You truly are amazing and from what Diane has said, her ROM is phenominal!! You are one tough cookie gf!!!

Keep praying for Lori C's dad.....I got some pics of her with him yesterday. I do believe with all the support her dad gets from his family and prayers are really helping him as he had the cutiest little grin on his face. Lori it was also great seeing you...it has been a long time!
I am glad I got to meet you Jinkers if you are reading this....you are great and swear do not think ever again being scared to show up to something because you would not have anything to talk about! You rock....oh and btw have great hair and a COOL cellphone clip!

Spent a good 6 hours with Kim aka Madame Butterfly and we never kept our mouths shut....that is a good sign!!!LOL
JenDenni....know we are all praying for you that your CT scan goes well tomorrow. I know you have a lot on our plate right now with the NOT knowing about the lump and the awful news you received, but know we are all here for you!!!

Thanks Janine, I appreciate all of the support! I had a great weekend. Saturday, it was just me and Tomis (my grandson) and we went to see Horton Hears a Who. What a hoot! Then on Sunday we did an Easter Egg Hunt 
at the Church. And I had 3 of my Grandbabies!!! Gosh they are growing up fast. I love the looks on their faces when they find an egg! And just the sweet innocent excitment and laughter. I bet you can't wait until Ava and Hunter are running after those eggs! Anyway they do my heart good and always help when Grandma is feeling a bit blue. Good Morning All.....
I do hope you all enjoy your day of green....
Have you ever felt like you disappointed someone so bad you felt like crying? Well that was my day yesterday. Kevin asked me a question (about buying something) and when I told him that I could not afford both payments, I could hear the smile slide off his face in his answer. OMG WOW How that hurt. He was so disappointed in my answer that his whole mood changed, he was silent for a few seconds before saying a few other things, then hanging up. I didn’t hear from him the rest of the day unit he called to say good night, and that was a short call because I thought I was going to start crying again. After his call, I went to bed and cried for a long time. I have not felt this bad in a years, and right now I am scared to talk to him. I am sure he is over it and has not giving it a second thought, and its my problem, that I really need to get over it. But after years of be happy and even proud I feel like a failure once again, and OMG I hate this feeling. I don't know what to do. On one hand I feel like I should talk to him about it, but on the other hand, I feel like I should just forget about it, and if he brings it up, maybe then talk to him about it. I just don't know.
Thank you for letting me whine.

Top o' the morning to ya, lassies and lads... it's St. Paddy's Day, to be sure!
I spent a nice day with mom and dad yesterday...yes, he is looking perkier now that the IV antibiotics are through. He goes to the doctor today to see about the wound in his tummy...to see if he can get the colostomy bag off of it.
God is good...and through all of this, He is bringing our family closer together...

Good St. Patrick's Day Morning to you too Janine!
D and I had a great time hosting our annual St. Patty's day get together yesterday afternoon. There was a great crowd and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Mom, being an Irish lass herself, was a center of attention. The Wii was going non stop all afternoon and we had a ball. When not playing you could hear gales of laughter coming from the living room! Thankfully, though the day was quite cool, the sun was out most of the time and there was no rain so people were able to socialize out on the patio. We worked late into the evening cleaning up though and neither of us is feeling much like going to work today!
