Any Kaiser Harbor City Patients Zane / Belzberg advise

Hi there gang, I am on a hunt to find people who have dealt with Kaiser at Harbor City or Dr. Zane or Dr. Belzberg. I would like to hear about your experiences. I am a Kaiser patient who is anxiously awaiting my consultation appointment and need to hear something about these surgeons. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jessica

I have a consultation with Dr. Belzberg last November.   I was impressed with him.   If I decide to have the RnY (still trying to decide on RnY or DS) I would go with him.

Hello Jessica,                          I had Gastric Bypass on October 26,07...After surgery I would ask myself what did I get myself into,... I was in so much pain ,as time went on it start to get better I'll say around the fourth week out I had no more pain. The only pain I have up until today is my upper arms for some reason are so sore....When I asked DR. Zane why they hurt he said he never heard of that... Now that months have passed I'm glad that I did it...When I started the Opition class I weighed 270 a week from Surgery I weighed 238 ansd now I weigh 175....The fist two months I lost most of my weight ...I now go every three to four weeks and the i'll drop 4-5 lbs...It does get frustrating because you see others on here who lose weight quick...But I realized not everyone is the same ..My friend had Dr.Zane he was very happy with him to.....If you have any more questions please feel free to email me @ [email protected] wish you the Best of luck with what ever Dr. you pick...=)                                                      Anna
