help im so tired !

Hi, I see you went to Boone.  I see Higa next month, and would love to hear about your surgery.  All the workup is done, ready to submit to insurance.  Wondering how long they take to approve, then how long to get a surgery date?  How many trips into Fresno were necessary?  Glad to hear you are doing so well.  Fern

Hi, I see Kevin Higa did your surgery?  I'm wondering how long for insurance to approve?  Then how long it took his office to schedule surgery?  The office staff seem very slow at everything, even taking about a week, or not at all, to return calls.  Sorry you're not feeling better, but you're not that far out from surgery yet.  Did you live out of town?  How many trips into Fresno did you have to make?  Thanks for any sharing you care to do.  Fern

hi kelvin higa is my hero ! he is an excellent surgeon ! i dont know how much u know about him but he teaches this procedure all around the world... my pcp told me he is the doc that repairs other doc's mistakes so i highly reccoment him.. he is very popular tho so u have to be patient...  every ins is different so i wont even attempt to go there..... i had to do 6 month phone class and lots of stuff before i was approved... u have to have lots of tests, even more depending on ur age... im 52 so i had to have even more tests done... then once i got approved i had to get an appt  to just go in and meet him and have an eval... then they call u to set up an appt once u have completed all ur testing.... once they called me it took 3 months to get my surgery date.... so if u r just starting ur process it takes time but its worth it...... yes i live in modesto about 1 1/2 hrs from fresno... had to go for evaluation, then had to go day before for pre-op, then a one week post-op , and now tomorrow a 3 week post-op... dont know from there...... let me know if u have any more questions...

Girlies!!! Wow! You are so early on! It was really 8 weeks (almost to the day) before I realized "Hey I feel normal!"  And I wasnt even going to the gym yet.. just walking around the high school track!  Its just going to get better and better! Take care!
