Tired limbs??
Did anyone else's limbs (arms & legs) feel tired easily after surgery (I'm 2 weeks post op)? I'm getting my protein, exercise, & water in, but my arms and legs tire very easily. The flight of stairs in my house wears me out, and my arms protest even when I carry my purse!! My muscles feel weak.
Does this go away with time, and what is it caused by -- lack of calories, lack of protein, lack of water, or just a symptom of my body recuperating from surgery? Maybe all of the above?? Anything I can do to increase their stamina in addition to exercise? I'm ready to have ALL my energy back! zzzzzzz
Thanks, Sheryl

Sheryl After my surgery everthing including my arms and legs were tired. I didn't get all my energy back for a couple of months. I wouldn't worry to much about it. I was told it was caused by the surgery and the total rearanging of the insides. You always want to make sure you get your water and protein in. Lack of protein will definetly make you tired. Your a real newbie yet so I think it just has to do with your recent surgery. Don't worry I'm pretty sure it's normal what your going through. If all esle fails and you just don't feel like it's right, contact your DR. he will have your answer for sure. Take care and have a wonderful afternoon.
Hey lady! Yes, Im feeling the same way too but I was told its from all the anesthesia that gets trapped in our bodies after surgery. It has no where to go so it settles in our shoulders causuing many of our muscles to get weak. My friends husband is a surgical tech and said it will pass but it takes time. BTW, I went to Vitamin Shoppe and got the Fuzzy Navel and its WAY better and so far so good on my stomach. Call me later~
P.S. How did you figure out the signature thing? ThanX for the abbreviations listing
Hey, Shawnna! Thanks for your reply! Makes me feel better that at least I'm not the only one. I wish there was something I could to improve it, but I guess that just comes with time, eh?
Anthony called last night and gave me a pep talk about the scale being stubborn. Still no weight loss on the scale yet! Bummer. Oh well . . . I'll just keep working at it! Looking forward to having CHICKEN on Saturday and moving into Phase III! Had some cramps last night after eating potato. Maybe the real thing has too much fiber versus mashed. Won't make THAT mistake again!!
Oh the signature thing? On your Welcome page for the California forums, on the left hand side look under "California Weight Loss Forums" and you'll see a bullet point that says, "User Settings." That's where you put your signature in. I had to look it up, too! Have a good evening!
