Cheri, I had my first stall at about 4 weeks out, too. It freaked me out because nobody prepared me for it and I was so worried that I was doing something wrong! Even now I still worry that I'm not doing things right but I try hard not to compare myself to others because everybody looses weight differently. Personally, I think you're doing a wonderful job and keep up the good work!

A week isn't really so bad (try a month!) You're going to experience so many changes during this time, not just physically but mentally too. There is no way that your body can remain at the same weight, it's just not possbile....you have been altered from the inside. Your body will do it's thing in it's own time.
The battle between you and your scale could be a tough one, I know it still is for me. Taking a break from weighing yourself is a good thing if you can actually do it. Take your scale and put it out of sight or even in the trunk of your car like somone suggested to me. Keeping busy is a good thing too, especially if you're motivated to eat out of boredom.
