I know its crazy, the wait list is supposedly a year and a half long. I fighting to get an out of network referral to see Dr. Jossart and get the DS since they don't do it at UCSF. Good luck! PM if you would like to talk further! :)

The wait list was like 2 years when I first started researching, so I went to Dr. Sanchez. From first consult to surgery was 4 months. Much better than 2 years!!!!

I'm having RNY at CPMC on Wednesday with Dr. Cirangle.  He is Dr. Jossart's partner.  I had my first consult in November, so it was pretty fast.  His office staff has been so helpful.  You should try LapSF.

No bypass there, but had eye surgery there when I was a VERY little girl! Sorry you are having such problems!
