I have looked at new, middle-aged, and long term peeps this week for my decision and came up with a million in each category!
Thank you thank you thank you Jodi for choosing me it came at a great great time since I am sick with tonsilitis and strep what a pick me up! I have always and continue to enjoy your support and commitment on this board Jodi! You are wonderful thank you again for choosing me as POTW.
who did I choose?

who is it?

Well, after finishing myself I have to say the PEOPLE of the week are Kevin and Kirsten! Our MARATHONERS! In case you have not heard they completed their FIRST official marathon this weekend the LA MARATHON! I am so proud of both of them and all the runners! What I like about choosing these two is they are 2 different surgeries proving the point we are ALL here for one another NO matter which surgery! WLS is difficult and it takes hard work and dedication and these two just completed HUNDREDS (yes, that is correct) of miles and six months of training! They inspire all of us to get out there and dedicate or rededicate ourself to our tool!
I do not know how to add their links..... but, please join me in welcoming our newest POTW (people of the week) Kirsten and Kevin!

Thank you again wonderful Jodi
I am now a revision after lapband complications. I had many complications with the lapband and now am learning to be a proud SLEEVER!
This is a tool not a cure all or the 'easy way out'. There is work to be done, I'm in!

Awesome! What a great choice. And great point made too---even though there are so many different types of WLS, the fact is that we are all in this boat together on a mission to get healthy, regardless of what type of surgery we went through. We all need support equally!  Way to go, Kevin and Kirsten! you make us all proud!!!!
