I'm good...working and getting ready for surgery (FINALLY!). Been trying to practice my knitting, but haven't been knitting as often as I would like. =)

You???

I have trying to finish this top-down sweater that seems like forever.  I am working on the second sleeve.  After that, I have to do the edging around the neck and weave in ends and then I am done.  I have two pairs of hand-warmers, a hat and a bottom-up sweater lined up next. Congrats on moving closer to surgery.  It will be in your face before you know it. Kim

Once I get better at knitting I want to make some mittens...I asked for mittens from a knitting friend for Christmas, and I got a scarf(?) instead...lol.

My mom likes those top down sweaters, she has made herself two or three now I think, they're cute, but they do seem to take a long time!

Thanks! I am still not quite feeling like it is real I think...it's like I am still waiting for someone to come tell me they changed their mind and I can't have surgery! LOL I guess I am not going to really believe it until I am in recovery!

Shells, Knitting- you will like making mittens.  You will get to work with double-pointed needles (fun). Surgery- it is real, girlfriend.  Quit thinking negative thoughts.  I understand it has been a struggle trying to get approve, etc., but you have to keep the faith.   Surgery is yours. Kim
