Good Tuesday Morning Cali!

Well I sure was hoping that when I got up that Monica had delivered Jordyn by now!!! Poor Monica....although I am sure even though we have not heard yet, Jordyn just has to be here by now!!! So much going on again on the boards..... Miss Ladybug is slated to have her much awaited surgery today. Make sure you all sign her support page....she really went through a lot to get to where she is. Mina aka UuUuLaLa successfully had her surgery yesterday.....YAY!!!!! Vicki girl....I am with Shells on this one about getting a 2nd opinion. Just not right! Steve I am concerned you have not been around...is everything okay? Jean...where have you been? Jodi...how are you today? Sue how is it going....give that Miss Pancake Sammi a smooch for her board granny!! Speaking of grandma's....yesterday I went with my dil to take Miss Ava to the eye doctor because they want to make sure that her eyes are okay because of her neck deal. He said so far he can tell right now that occular muscle placement is okay, but will see her again in 2 months to keep up on things. He is also my eye doctor who specializes in pediatrics and one of the reasons I was sent to him is because I that muscle surgery when I was 8 and so did my dil. Ava stands a chance of having the problem too even if she did not have the neck thing going on. He was absolutely wonderful with Ava...she did well considering it sucks have your eyes dialated. I will see him Friday to get my eyes checked too. You know he is so cool and with it...he remembers all the details about my eye condition and has not seen me for a while. Anywho..wish I was not going back to work today....my co-worker whom I am very good friends with came over last night and updated me on the stuff going on around there. I will not speak to admin at all..only through the union if they want to know anything. She said my kids are worried about me....nice. Oh yeah to show you how screwed up the admin is to me...well I asked for the principal to write his annual message....he mentions all the classses and activities and conveniently left out the elective I teach....nice eh? I wrote him back and asked if this was just an oversight. So it is going to be a rough day for me...I am nervous and of course it effects my sleep. But to a good day everyone....I have not really read the boards, but know that each and everyone of you matter....without you all...there would not be the great Cali board that we have!!! PEACE OUT!!!!

  Good Morning Mz. Janine and Crew! I'm so sorry you are going through the politics and such at work. That always makes dragging our butts to work much harder. Here's hoping things get worked out and your anxiety level goes way down very soon! I've been around but have been having some computer issues, mostly of my own doing I have to admit! Trying to tweak things I have made things worse and am still having issues with our home network. Oops! So I haven't been able to have the time to post much what with that and being busy in general lately.  Anyway, all is well at the Jacobsen-Waterman homestead right now. Am glad that Sister Santa Ana left town as it was a real wind storm for a couple of days here!     At least I was able to sleep through the night last night after two nights of being woken up over and over all night. Was kinda zombied out yesterday at work. Feeling much more alert this morning so it should be a good day!    And only three more days until the weekend and that's another thumbsup for the morning!    Hope you and all the Cali Crew have a Terrific Tuesday Janine!

Yesterday I returned to work felt better than I thought, that was good. Those kids really recharge your batteries! I am still sick with the tonsilitis and strep but, taking my penicillian and tylenol.

Good morning Janine and crew!

Janine, you mentioned the other day that you were thinking of looking for a position at another school, and I meant to tell you good luck with that, and I forgot! Sounds like they are definitely taking you for granted where you are now!

Another busy one for me at work today and I am TIRED! I don't know what the cats were doing last night but I got woken up over and over to the sounds of crashing in the other room...would get up, nothing would appear to be out of place....go back to bed, fall asleep, another crash....lather rinse repeat. I seriously considered napping in the parking lot before I came into the office this morning!

I can't wait until Celeste posts an update on Mommy Monica and Miss Jordyn! I thought about her all last night and I am so excited!!!!

Anywho...I need to get some coffee and some breakfast and get a move on.

hi... still feeling kind of low from that call yesterday.  not looking forward to the hour and a half round trip either....but, I am hoping that they will tell me WHY not.... I am not giving up though.  I cant live my life like this anymore.... hugs to all, vicki

GOod morning all Guess I haven't been posting as much - thanks for thinking of me Janine - I just haven't been on the computer as much and when I am I am hooked on the bb9 feeds (yes, I am a junkie and I hate to admit it cause all the houseguests are idiots but oh well) and also started reading a new book - Valerie Bertinellis book.  And shopp;ing of course..... Nothing new with me - just holding steady in my weight.  I guess my body got to the century mark and has decided to stay here for a while.  I am not complaining. I too was hoping to hear that baby JOrdyn was here - but no post yet this am. COngrats to all those going in for surgery  - you are gonna do great Janine - I am so so so sorry you are having all this crap at work.  They will be so sorry if you leave.  Hang in there girl - we are all behind ya 100% So now, its off to make some coffee and read the paper, everyone have a great day.
