What are you thankful for?
Gooooooood Monday Morning!!!
How are all you fine Californians today?? I hope doing well. I wish that I could say that I was pain free, alas, such is not the case- but, I have gone 13 years in my life with pain....what's another day, right??
Here's the deal- tell us what you are thankful for...could be ANYTHING at all! I know that there were several approval letters that came in the mail and surgery had by oodles last week, so let me start by saying that I am thankful for all of you that had surgery and got approval. WLS is a life saver!!
Here we go!
Mike- as always. From around the world, he is my rock.
Lynnie- even though she has been REALLY sick, she still takes the time EVERY day to check on me. I LOVE YOU LYNNIE BO BINNIE!!!
My in-laws for taking my kids at a kind of spur of the moment deal, but SO much needed by me!
The blossoms on the trees around here and the gorgeous weather that we have been having!
That I am blessed with a GREAT Secret Pal that sent me a frame with a picture of my family in it...that meant a lot!
That my in-laws are taking my two youngest again this coming weekend that will allow me and my oldest to have a mommy/daughter date and then art project ALL day Saturday- got that Teach? lol
okay, off to wake up the kiddos. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!!

Good Morning Vicki
So sorry your still in so much pain, hope they are able to relieve it soon.
I am so thankful for this board and all of the wonderful supportive people on it.
Thankful that they are getting closer to finding out the problem with me so I can get to the business of fixing me so that I can start losing weight again.
Thankful for my wonderful hubby that puts in way to many hours at work and never complains about it.
Thankful for my awesome daughter that takes such good care of me when I need it and sometimes even when I don't.
Thankful for the person that suggested that my x son in-law look into this forum that has made him a much better person.
Thankful for the huge smile on the little face of my youngest granddaughter every morning when she comes out of her bedroom and looks and me and says "morning gramma"
Thankful for my son, daughter in-law and my 7 almost 8 year old granddaughter because they always let me know they love me.
Thankful it's Monica and not me having a baby this morning.
OK I guess for the first time in a while I remembered what I really had to be thankful for.
Thanks for this post!
Have a wonderful day and an awesome week!
I love these posts...
I'm thankful that God saw fit that I marry my best friend and that he and I were able to take this weightloss journey together.
I'm thankful that my oldest daughter had the adversities in life that made her a stronger person so that now that she is an adult, she seems to be able to handle anything.
I'm thankful that my not so little girl (my youngest) is starting to feel better after a month long bout of rebounding migraines. She's smiles again. Finally.

Hi Vicki.. so sorry that you are hurting.. My prayers go out to you!!
Oh I have so much to be Thankful for...
I am forever thankful for my children. Even when it seems they will drive me to the ends of sanity I am blessed by their smile and unconditional love.
Specially thankful for my eldest daughter, whom without her help I don't think I would of made it this far in my journey as a single parent. Even bordering the teen stage with the famous I know everything attitude, I am still ever thankful for her.
I am thankful for my ex mother in law..I have SO MANY differance with her, since the very day I met her.. yet it seems anytime I have needed help with the kids (since their father is MIA most the time) she has always been there.
I am thankful for this board. It seems like I have entered a whole new world since WLS and no one who has not experienced WLS can relate to how I feel or what I am going through. It is nice to have a place to run to when you feel alone. Somtimes I don't even need to go asking questions bc someone else has already asked before me..
I am thankful as well for the great gals I have met off this board as well. I just love our get togethers, and can't wait for another one!!
And most of all I am Thankful for my Jesus. Withouth Him in my life I would not be the person I am today. Without Him there would be no reassurance that there is something better worth living for then what this world has to offer!!
Thank you for this great post Vicki.. have a beautiful day Cali crew!!
