Hey Gene, You are most welcome! I was amazed a****ching my runners yesterday, one thing was almost universal...those who trained consistently and at a much slower pace did MUCH better than those who skipped training and those who tended to go way too fast during training. My fastest runner was a 16 year old who trained with the Shorter group (10:30 minutes on short runs and 12:30 on long runs).  He put in a 3:20 marathon!!  He came in at 300 and something overall!  Thats under 8 minutes per mile and he NEVER ran that fast during training.  Thats why I keep telling people that they can run fast even though they train slow! Here's to Rock n' Roll in June!  BTW - we are going to get together for 3 long runs between now and then (one in March, one in April, and one in May) should I add you to the email list? Scott

Thanks Coach Scott!!
As you could see I worst day running marathon day! But I fight through and was able to finish!! Thank you for all your help!! I see why everyone loves training with you!! You are the best coach!!

Now I get to take some weeks off then decide if I want to keep training or just stick to shorter races!!

Thanks again for everyone that donated to Aids Project L.A. I hope you know that was one of the things kept my feet moving thinking all my friend that supported me so I could run (mostly walk) this race!!

You rock!!  Take some time to recover before you make any decisions.  Apparently, it's kind of like childbirth, you forget most of the pain afterwards and just remember the joy. Congratulations!
