Good Windy Sunday Morning Cali!!!

Holy smokes Cali are we having a windy one again!!!  I am telling you...it was beautiful here yesterday then about 3 in the afternoon the winds picked up and it huffed and it puffed, even had power outages, and blew like mother nature having a bad sneeze that took over the land! Before the wind got so awful,I had my Miss Ava downtown yesterday strolling on Palm Canyon and to a small monthly art festival. She seemed to love it...she really likes to be stimulated. Ava was in an awesome mood yesterday as she slept for about 2 hours before we went out. She wakes up always super happy and giggly. I love it! Jeff said people were looking at her like crazy then he said they were doing this back and forth look at me and then her and he said you could just see their minds turning...is she the mother or grandmother. I said no and then thought well maybe because I was dressed young is all. Me think Jeff has blinders on sometimes! I do have a huge woohoo moment actually!!!! I not only bought, but fit and wore out last night a pair of size 10 Levi's!!!! I have never been a 10 in anything in my whole life!!! To me that is a major accomplishment and cannot believe I would ever see the day that I would fit into that small of a size!!! So today the marathoners are going to be out there running their poor feet off!!! I do not envy them, but are very proud of their dedication tos uch a great cause! Please continue to keep Lori C aka BeautyfromAshes father in your prayers....he is really going through a living hell! Becky aka Anewbecoo really needs some feel good prayers too!!! I cannot imagine how painful those hernias are! Vicki M needs those same feel good prayers....I know how bad she is hurting! Sue I believe Miss Sammi is going to turn into a pancake!!!!  Then for sure, I am going to have to have a little nibble....give her a big smooch from board neen   Hey Jodi...did you survive the party? How come you just don't join in...like it is better to join than fight it kind of thing! I hope your day is brighter....you just seemed so sad...and I hate to see you that way because you are such a good deserving person! Mr. Steve...I sure hope you post your weaved pics....OMG how powerful is that? You know I remember you so well at that size, but then again....I can't remember you that was because you seem so right like you are now! WOW is all I can say and a job so well done!   Lot of people having surgery this week....get out their and sign those pages in support!!! Good luck to all of you! So what is on the agenda for today? I will continue to work on the yearbook...almost done..so close I can taste it and later I will be going out to dinner with the inlaws....oh boy!!! GoodMorning Janine& all of Cali It is an early morning in the Roark house.  Chuck and I are up and getting ready for the la bike tour in conjunction with the marathon.  I have slept about an hour I was too excited and couldn't sleep.  It sucks when I like a little kid.  I hope to get a glimpse of the marathoners.  I will go up the hill to see Celest and Gary. Well, need to hit the water locker and put bikes on car.  Just finished some oatmeal. Love Ya Liz

Good Sunday Morning Janine, Gus and I just got in from ...had a good time as usual.  I can't believe what weird weather we had today...so cold and drizzly.  We had a family function today and of course for the size of our family...it had to be outside and it was COLD WELL off to .  Have a good day and take care. Up to go get mom and take her to hospital to try to catch up w/the doctor when he does his rounds... lots of long distance driving for me today... hours of it...but, it's all good... My dad held my hand yesterday and said, "Don't go out of your way to come back and visit with me"... and I said, "Dad, I think of all the times that YOU went out of your way to help me when my car broke down...or my house needed some work, etc, etc etc"... my eyes got all shiney w/tears and he just looked at me and glowed.... How can I not return the favors of a lifetime? xoxo Lori

Good morning Janine and Cali! It looks to be a beautiful day here on the Central Coast today. Yesterday, the sun did come out but was a *****illy. Today should be nicer.  Sounds like you had a blast with your sweet baby Ava yesterday. Congrats on such a terrific WOW moment. Even more remarkable at 5 yrs post op!  I had a small one the other day. Someone I hadn't seen in probably 3 or 4 months didn't recognize until I said something. It was kinda funny. Sending good healing vibes, thoughts and care out to all who need a boost today. Boy howdy some of our Cali folks sure are having a hard time these days. Pancake Sammi sends smooches back! I swear I think she would eat pancakes everyday if she could. Oh wait a minute, she almost does anyway. Her Grandma makes a batch on the weekend and freezes them. When Sammi is there M-W she gets pancakes. Then I almost always take her on Sunday.  Well, I think I'll go puruse the boards for a few before we get going this morning. It was windy here in Monterey too.  The wind caught my door when I went shopping and I thought it was going to pull my arm out of the socket.  Still supposed to be windy today too.  Not much planned, get rif of the grey today and get the wash done.  Always have to go back to work just to get some rest LOL.  Hope everyone has a great day! Good Morning Janine and Cali, I am back home as of last night and less loopy from the drugs I got in the hospital.  Okay so here is the deal.  The house closed on friday and I am now a home owner.  Second its time for Jordyn to be ejected.  I know I have not been in a rush for this and it still isn't time really but there is no more room at the inn and I can't go through to many more sleep less nights like last night.  She has got to get her own space Go Marathoners!!! Everyone enjoy the day.
