2 more days 3/3/08 surgery need an angel

Hiya im nervous and in need of an angel to help me thru this i was so prepared for this three weeks ago when my surgery was re scheduled for 3/3/08 its so hard and emotional to go thru the whole thing again i have to say bye to my kids get everything ready once again make sure all there clothes are washed and rooms clean drink a bottle of magnesium how wonderful.. yuk! and expect that everything will go by smoothly im excited and ready and very scared i dont think i have ever felt this scarred... i wont have my husband with me on the drive to the hospial i cant be a sissy and cry he has something to do that early morning that cannot miss.. but he will be in my recovery room when i wake up pray for me my WLS forum friends be my angels and say a little prayer for Mina in fontana getting surgery in Riverisde parkview hospital  i will post my experience as soon as i get back and feel better hugs xoxo

Mina, My gosh you have been through a lot.  That "emotional roller coaster" is one heck of a ride!    I am praying that everything will go smoothly for you! I know it will!!!    I'm sorry your DH cannot be there on the ride to the hospital, but I know you will be fore-most in his thoughts.  May God Bless you and your surgeon and bring you through this with a wonderfully successful surgery!!! Mina... may God bless you as you have your surgery, and keep hubby and kids safe and sound while you are in the hospital. I'm nowhere near Riverside....but, there are a LOT of folks on this board out there...maybe someonw will be able to drop in and see you the morning you go to the hospital... Blessings... Lori

Darn it, I wish I could get out to see you, but I still cant drive till my stomach drain site closes up.  However, if you can pm me your name, if you are comfortable with that, I would be happy to call you in the hospital to see how you are doing!  Dr. Krahn is an awesome doctor, Brian his PA is awesome also, Parkview is a great hospital and I know you are going to do great!  Good luck, you will be in my thoughts and prayers on Monday!

Hello thank you for making me feel better my name is Carmina Lopez i will be Dr Krahns 2nd patient they told me to be there at 8am.. my mother will drive me that morning and i dont mind you guys calling and reasuring me everything will be ok god knows i need all the support i need hugs and im sure i will meet lots of  you at a Riverside meeting after surgery i might even drive out to St Bernardine to keep in touch in a support group Big hugs my number is 951 316 2171 and my husbands Jeff;s end in 70 im sure he could tell you how im doing xoxo

Mina sweetie!  I will pray for you as I too am having WLS tomorrow at 8:30.  You will be fine and we will both come out of this as new woman!  I look forward to hearing from you post op! Shawnna
