Me, I think we may go to the racetrack (time to bet on the ponies!) tomorrow and then it's off to K&K's dinner tomorrow evening!

Sunday, I am going to relax and finish up a few crafty type projects I have hanging around the house.....nothing too exciting for me!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Shells I am glad you posted and you care that I was MIA. I tried to post about 4 but the boards were down...it kept coming up as they were working on the boards. I am home today as I walked off my job yesterday as the admin upset me so bad that I was gasping for air. Really freaked me out...they really freak me out! For the weekend, I know I have to continue to work on the yearbook, but for sure I am taking some time for myself.  I am also getting in some Ava time too! I get to watch her tomorrow and I had some great Hunter time on Wednesday. I will post some updated pics! Hope you have fun this weekend. I have never been to the racetrack,but I am sure that would be loads of fun. For sure have fun at that dinner and wish them well for me!   

OMG! I don't know what happened yesterday at work but it MUST have been pretty bad to make someone as dedicated as you walk out!!!! I hope that you enjoy your day today and DO take some me time this weekend, you deserve it!

Ya know, someone else that I know mentioned that she was having some issues with OH earlier, I had wondered if that was why you had not posted! =)

Good moring Shells. Happy TGIF to you. Sounds like a great weekend to me. My daughter is having a poker/Karoke party on saturday. Thank good hubby and my bedroom is in the back.  I don't join in when she has her partys. I run and hide in my room. I love it.  She likes throwing those kinds of partys so I hope it goes well.  I use to have poker partys and all sorts of parties all the time, but I got over it. lol Hubby needs to move the video cabinet after he gets off work and that's it.  I'm telling you I am doing nothing once again this weekend. Guess I'm just getting use to it. Hope you have an awesome day and weekend also. Take care my friends.

Chris and I have been talking about having a poker party....we even have two big folding tabletops that have the casino style poker felts on them....we just haven't gotten around to actually planning a party yet! LOL

I read about your not so great week and just wanted to offer a *hug* and a little . We all have those weeks, and thankfully (at least as far as I am concerned!) we have each other here to lean on when they come around. Hang in there, I know it will get better for you!!!

Goodmorning everyone.. I have been hit with the cooking bug..  I love to pull out my recipes and try new things in the kitchen, but since surgery I have not been cooking.. just sort of throwing things together here and there for the kids.. so I decided this Saturday I am gonna get out my cook book and make some Soupish.. I have not made it in over a year so why not.. don't know how my stomach will react to it, but I am gonna take it over and share it with a family I work for.  My kids will be with their Grandma for the weekend and it gives me some time to just relax with adult company.  I am so looking forward to spending the day in peace and quiet.  Then Sunday I get to start my next crazy few weeks till Easter.  I am heading up the Easter Service Music production and I have to teach the children some old hymns, plus find some volunteers to sing a special Easter morning as well.  Joy Joy Joy.. I actually am looking forward to it, but I know when it gets closer to Easter Suday I will be stressed in if I pulled it together ok or not.. lol Its three weeks away and I am already stressing about it.. ha ha ha.  Well I do hope you all have a blessed weekend!!  ((((HUGS))))

LOVE soupish!!!  My sister in law (who had WLS several years ago) makes it and does fine with it.  I didnt have any problems either. YummmmO

Hey Shells, Soupish is a portuguese (sp?) soup that has cabbage, meat and a bunch of different spices.  Not sure what all goes into it, but it is REALLY good!
