IE Loser's - Disney 5K Info!!!

As you probably know Lu is on her way tonight to Miami for her cruise so I thought I would post this regarding our commitment to a 5K run this year!         As we have discussed in our support meetings this year we have said we WILL do a 5K walk/run this year and "Get Off Our Butts In 2008" right? So we are going to take part in the Disney 5K on Labor Day weekend. In the meantime I wanted to put this out there so you all can plan ahead! And FYI, we would be THRILLED if any other Cali Crew peeps to join us!

I've already signed up for the 1/2 marathon. So if anyone want to run a 1/2 marathon I'll be there!!! Also both sellout fast so don't wait to sign up!!

Do they let you stay in the parks afterwards or do they kick you out?  I'd love to do this one - partly because I want to do one & partly because I used to work at D-Land for 24 years.   Lidia  

They kick you out.  I volunteered for the 5k last year because I neglected to sign up in time.  It starts early in the morning and everyone is done by 9ish, just in time to clear you out and let the park goers in.  Cindy
