Self pay plastics help ~ please

Looks like I'm gonna be self pay on my plastics.  Anyone want to recommend their surgeon and give me a ballpark figure?  I'm just interested in my tummy and will need a veritcal incision.  Way too much skin above the belly button!  I'm willing to travel.

Have you tried Dr. Katzen?  You can check the plastic surgeons on the site and get info on them.  I had Dr. Katzen and he is totally awesome and when you read the feedback for him - well... I think you'll like what you see.  This is how I personally feel.  And no... I didn't get a cent for this 'commercial'.  He does cost a bit more than others, but can you put a price on finishing your journey? As always, do your research and make sure you are comfortable with whom you choose. 

Hi Terri. I'm actually going to Dr. Quiroz in Tijauana for a consult this Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes.

I've also had a consult with Dr. Thomas McNemar - he has an office in San Ramon. He's excellent - did my sister's tt and ba and did a fantastic job. He does a lot of WLS patients. He quoted me $12,700 for both tt and ba. I think it would have been about 7k just for the tt.

I have another consult with a surgeon in Modesto today and I can let you know how that goes too.

I have friends who have gone to Dr. Quiroz.  He is a great guy!  He did a great job for them.  I just couldn't bring myself to go outside the US again.   I also had a consult with him, but at the time my hgb was too low and they wouldn't touch me.  haha.  It took me another two years to get my levels up. He also has an office here in So. Cal.  Good luck!

Did you have a bad experience going out of the country?

Can you tell me where his office is here in So Cal?  My BFF and her entire family (even her uncle) have had work done by him and I am looking into him as well, maybe next year some time as Im only having surgery tomorrow...
