Whacky WeighIn WeDnEsDaY!!!
Good morning Janine and the rest of my cali buds
I will play - I am down 2 lbs this week which, as Janine said - puts me in the century club with a total of 100.6 lbs lost in just 6 months and 1 week YAHOOOOOOOOOO.
And, a BIG WOW for me yeaterday - I was at target, what else is new, and there were some Mossimo jeans hanging there I thought - well I am going to try these on - now mind you they are not stretch and are regular with button and zipper and everything - so I take in a 22w and a 20w and the 22 fit so I thought, why not try the 20 and guess what - yep THEY FIT - I almost cried in the dressing room. THe gal working probably thought I was a crazy woman when I walked out so excited to buy a size 20w - oh if she only knew what a goal this was for me.....
so thats it for me - I got called for Jury duty and have been having to call in each evening and low and behold, yesterday when I called my group number has to report this morning at 9 am. So you all know what I will be doing today - sitting in the jury room at the westminster courthouse. But I bought a new book yesterday - Valerie Bertinellis new book - so I will be reading. I have already gotten my food ready to take with me so I am all set.
Everyone have a great day
Bonjour!!
I am down another 2 lbs. I think that I would be down more if I could get out and exercise like I really want to~ alas, my damn back won't allow it. Just walking the dogs around the block is painful. I have a PT appointment today and I am going to refuse any traction. I think it has made matters worse as I have had to take several pain pills in the last few days and that just ain't a good thing with 3 kids in the house needing my attention.
I have also gotten all my med records put together for a Neurosurgeon in Fresno that I hope to have an appointment with in the next few weeks. We will see what he has to say about it all. But, as much as I hate to think of going under the knife for such a serious surgery- if it can give me any OUNCE of pain relief, then I will go for it. I am (almost) 36 years old and my quality of life sucks. I had WLS in order to be able to get out and play with my kids and have an active life. Since my back issues have reared its ugly head again, it is almost like when I was pre-op and I am just so tired of hurting.
When I was getting my youngest in bed last night, I told him that I was sorry that my back has been hurting so much and that I don't get outside with him and play as much as he would like. He started crying and said he was sorry that I was hurting (he is FOUR years old!!!) *sigh* made me get all choked up.
Anyway, that was kind of a downer, eh?? Sorry kids- needed to get it out....
Well, I hope that everyone has a fantastic day~ I am off to see the PT wizard, come home to do some homework and enjoy my babies...
Big hugs to all,
me
P.S. Janine, if you think that I printed out a picture that I liked of myself and then tried to free hand sketch it out, instead of the backlight thing you suggested, would that work out nicely for my project along with what you are sending me?? Just a thought....

okay, dumb question...when you say profile shot- do you mean a side view of my face? If you mean just my face, straight on- then yes, I have a couple that I like that I could use....

Good Morning All!
Janine you are inspiring with your continued loss! Everyone is doing sooo well today.
As for me, I've lost 6lbs in the last week. I was at 60lbs lost for at least 2 weeks & I thought the scale would never move. Then it started at 1-2lbs each day. I guess that's just the way my body does things as nothing has really changed in my eating & exercise.
It's a beautiful day everyone - ENJOY!

Good morning Janine and crew!
I almost had to read back to yesterday to remember what the parking lot thing was about! LOL The guy in charge of keys to the office keeps forgetting to make me a copy, and the other person who is usually here at 6 with me had to visit a site in the field yesterday, so I got here at 6 and there was no one here. I had to sit in the parking lot for 2 hours (I don't live close enough to warrant getting back into the rush hour traffic on the freeway and going back home) before someone with a key showed up to let me in to the office! I was SO MAD!
Anyhow...as for WWW I am the same again this week. I guess I need to step up some more exercise, I am really just hovering around the same weight the last few weeks. I did start taking the dog on a nice long walk every night (started Sat), maybe that will help this week? I know it's benefitting the dog, he sleeps like a baby at night! That reminds me...I have pics....I should post one...of the dog, that is.
I cannot seem to get in gear today, the alarm went off and I was just not ready to be awake and I am still struggling. I even copped out on making my lunch which means I have to go get food at some point, which always annoys me...there are no good options close to my office.
Anyhow...enough whining out of me!
Janine, you are ROCKIN that tool, which is a huge inspiration to us newbies (and soon to be newbies!) Congratulations!
OK...back to work I go.
I hope everyone has a great hump day!

Good Morning-I am the same as last week, at 208, but that still makes 102 lbs. lost, so I can't complain. I signed up for the mini challenge on the main board so lets see if I can loose 5 lbs by Easter (I am keeping my fingers crossed).
Hope all of us have a great Hump Day, only 2 days left till the weekend,
Sharon
