YAY for Sunday right gang? You know what that means? It means tonight is the Oscars....and Hollywood is going to shine!!!

There is going to be lots of pomp and pagentry....lot of dumb speeches

and even dumber jokes by

but the real awards

should go to all of you who have and will have WLS! You are the hero's and the people I look up to! Now don't get me wrong....I love the Oscars and totally wish I had the time to watch and play today, but you all know what I am going to be doing! And what about those coffee gals in LB? You all are look fine!!!! Jean you so impress me! I have this feeling that you are going to be shouting from the roof top today....lastest tomorrow....I AM A MEMBER OF THE CENTURY CLUB!!!!!

Monica W.....I think you were able to go to Hemet yesterday and sign the papers for your house....I am waiting to see you post and say....I AM OFFICALLY A HOMEOWNER!!! How was the support group meeting. I thought about you and Steve around that time....I am hoping this next month, I will get to go and bring Madame Butterfly aka Kim...she is also interested in going! How about my little angelette Jo being just overweight now? How cool is that? She is doing fantastic and I know she has a hectic schedule with going to nursing school and have a young family. Her son is a real looker for sure! Not to leave you out Katt...you sure are on the home stretch and you are also going to be shouting from the roof tops...I HAVE A DATE!!!! Like Miss Rocky you have really jumped through the hoops for surgery and are going to do fantastic!

You know I did not mention this earlier, but this week I talked with a couple of gals here from the boards whom I have never met that are participating in the S thingie....you know who you are as I do not want to pique any ones curiosity as to who their SP might be.....but you both are really terrific people and it wa nice meeting you both over the phone!

Hey Steve....hope you are surviving your weekend and I can hardly wait to hear the reaction of family who have not seen you since before WLS....did you have a shovel to scoop their jaws off the ground?

I am up super early because of this stupid insomnia that hits every once in a while so I thought I would chime in today. I did not realize that the Oscars were tonight. I haven't had my cable in a while so it is hard to keep up. I guess I will have to read about it online tomorrow.

I don't have very much planned today. Gonna start some coffee soon because I don't think I will be able to go back to bed. I need to fix the kitchen sink that I broke yesterday, do some laundry and I am going to a BBQ at my friends this afternoon. I need to get ready to go to San Diego on Thursday to see my daughter's soon-to-be husband graduate from boot camp. She is so excited. She hasn't seen him since December 2nd. I am excited to see him too. He won't be home long but we will spend as much time with him as we can.

Good Morning Janine and Cali, Sorry to disappoint but you probably won't see that post before wednesday. I actually go to Hemit today to sign what I understand is a 50 page packet. In Los Angeles county I am told that closing is a 2 day process no matter what. I did get boxes moved yesterday, ordered carpeting for the house and because Home depot didn't have it togetherand showed up with my fridge have that too. Trust me the moment that the keys are mine you will hear me I won't need to post. I have a friend going to the Oscars tonight. She is a nurse a king drew and one of the docs bought tix for a red carpet event that includes dinner and a fashion show and I'm not sure what else so she is treating herself to star treatment today. Hair appt, makeup at the mac counter and a new frock. We had a good giggle because she is so not about all of this hoopla. Everyone enjoy the day Monica

Good rainy Sunday morning Janine and Crew! It has been raining steadily since late last night and is predicted to do so until this afternoon. Hopefully it'll let up in LA in time for the Oscar arrivals huh? Hate to see the stars walking a soggy red carpet! So yeah, the family were pretty stunned when they saw D and I in person yesterday. We hadn't seen them for two years. Very cool WOW moment for us both. Oh, yeah, as of yesterday's Weigh****chers meeting Darrell has lost 46 pounds and has 12 to go to reach his goal and lifetime membership privilages. Go D! Well, time to move along and think about getting the day underway. Want to be all done with chores and errands before the Oscar telecast gets underway at 3 this afternoon! Good morning Janine and Cali! It is soggy here today too. I hate it when DH has to work out in this weather. It really does make his job twice as difficult. Kandy did graduate doggy school yesterday. My mom asked me if it was worth it and I told her every penny! She is definately still a handful but oh so much better. After I work with her for a while and really get what we've already learned down pat, we might go for intermediate training. Will have to see. We're having inhaler issues with Sammi again. I'm not going to get into it and I think it's just a computer glitch with the insurance. Hopefully we'll have it straightened out Monday. Sammi sends her love. You know I gave her a hug and smooch from her board Grammy. She loves it. Oh, you're gonna love this. She wants a Hello Kitty birthday party this year. I'm pretty sure I can make that happen. The hard part is this year with Easter so early, I think her party is going to have to be the following weekend. Doesn't really matter I suppose. Great job on your Yearbook! Good Morning Janine and all the rest of my cali buds Oh Janine - you have got to be the most supportive person - thanks to you - and to everyone - for the compliments. I didn't hit that century mark this morning darnit - I am holding steady at 99.4 lb loss - my body is messing with me and teasing me. But I also am a little - plugged up if ya know what I mean.....I took a stool softener this morning (I know TMI) so I hope that helps. I did have a kinda big wow yesterday. I went to walmart after the coffee get together (I had to return a pair of pants that I had bought cause I went right past the size and hadn't even worn them yet. Now here is the wow.....I can wear a size 16W (now mind you they are stretch but still -) and....I bought 2 tops that were size 18/20 and I actually wore one of them, a green sweater, to a birthday party last night....can you say OMG...... The party last night was a 50th birthday party that they had catered from a yummy local mexican place - Baja Sonora for all the locals here. Well I did good, I had a little spoon of refried beans with some cheese, a few bites of the chicken and a few bites of the beef, some shredded lettuce, salsa and 1/2 of the flour tortilla and only 2 chips. I think thats pretty good....no guacamole or sour cream and no rice - YEAH FOR ME. And funny thing is, I was still eating after my sis, her hubby and her son were done and they had WAY more than me on their plate..... Ok so for me today its nothing...its raining here and pretty cold so I am going to wrap up here, make some coffee, read the paper and maybe watch a movie again today. I did watch "We Own The Night" yesterday - good movie. And watched "Michael Clayton" the other day and that is great....so today may be "American gangster" Everyone have a great day and try to stay warm and dry. Thanks again to everyone for their encouraging words. And to my fellow BB9 watchers - I want Natalie and Matt GONE - she is getting on my last nerves with her - "YOU NEVER TALK TO ME MATTY" whine. And Can Matt go one sentence with out dropping the f word a million times..... Hugs to all

Good Morning Janine and the rest of the calif crew...

Well my face is still hurting so bad, I stopped taking one of the medications, I think its to strong for me and was drying me out to much. I done a sinus wash yesterday after the support and end up with a blood nose. Go figure! After sleeping for a few hours I woke up and went over and took care of Jeri's kids then went got me some soup. After eating the hot soup, my nose started running, loosing everything up, but once again I end up with a blood nose, not bad at all, just a little bit. At about 7 I went over and checked on Jeri's kids and that was just about when the sky's opened up and let it all fall out. I don't think it has stopped since about then. WOW!! But its all good, we need the rain.

OK time to get moving, I want to go urgent care and get some new medication.
