Good Soggy Saturday Morning Gang!!

Okay Northern Cali...stop sending us rain!!!!  However Good Morning to all of you anyways! It is a tad windy here in the middle of the night and I am sure it is what woke me, like I really need an excuse. Although I know I am going to go back to bed and catch some shut eye as I want to at least feel a bit more refreshed as I gear up for a long day of work. I was finally hoping to get to the IE support meeting, but I know that is for sure not happening this month either. I will soon have the yearbook out of my hair come March 7th. I have 24 pages due for a deadline Monday....7 pages to go and then in 11 days have the last 16 due....OMG I am stressing, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel and really proud of this book...even more than the last two! Thanks for all the good thoughts for my niece....she got her chest tube out yesterday along with her casts on and pins and so forth. She might get home this weekend. Youth eh? Stil are unclear on what happened but my MIL said that now it is coming out that she was t-boned by another driver who lost control on the ice. All unclear still. I want to say to all the people who participate in the SP thingie....it is nice to see a lot of you committed to your SP and take it serious, but are having a lot of fun with it. I really like seeing people happy and excited and that is what this was intended for. Hope you all have a great day, stay safe on the roads if you are traveling on the wet roads! PEACE OUT!!!  

Good Morning Janine and Cali, No rest for the weary here.  Today we are moving  boxes over to the house.  Tomorrow we have to drive to Hemit to sign the papers.  I just hope its over soon.   Everyone enjoy the day Monica

Good morning Janine  and all of the rest So happy for you that your book is almost done. Glad to hear that your niece is doing so well. Yes the Youth do bounce back faster then we do. OH how I wish I had that ability again, Not the age just the ability to recover faster. No rain here yet but I am waiting for it. Notthing planned today but to watch movies. Hubby doesn't have to work today but he has to go into work tomorrow at 1am for 5 hours. Dumb in my opinion and his too, but it pays the bills. Then watch the NASCAR race on tv on sunday provided it's not rained out as the race is in Fontana Ca. this weekend. Well that's it for my weekend. Have a wonderful weekend and don't work to hard.

Good Morning Calif....

Well, I am up and moving, but dang I don't want to be. I am sleepy and want to sleep hours more. I am up this early because I have to go and feed Jeri Rays kids before support, and I like to play with them for a little bit before leaving. I feel better giving them loving time. And I take Sadi for walk. Since she is locked up in the house all night.

My sinus thing is still hurting me. I am hoping that it will be cleared up before the cruise, and I am taking my medication. But WOW it don't seem to be working very fast. I am ether running a muck at the noise or sooo back up I fear a sneeze. I hope something breaks soon, and just praying its not me.

OK my coffee is done, so its time to get moving.

Good Morning!!! We are going to get out storm later this afternoon and all through the night they said......big winds and lots of rain! I can deal with the rain but when the wind blows like that it kinda spooks me out.  We have a HUGE Oak tree in our back yard, although it's sturdy it does tend to drop some pretty big branches and twigs.  We had a contest with the Grandkids last weekend on whom could make the biggest pile of sticks!  It's fun for them and hey, my husband loves the help! We have some movies..............some healthy snacks and house cleaning to do.  I think that is how our weekend will be! Have a great one everyone, and like Janine mentioned be safe out on the roads! Well, for me today it is off to Magic Mountain for cheer competition and then some hanging out at the park  Yuk,  I know the kids will beg me to go on that Goliath ride it scares the **** out of me.  still suffering with the lips.  The are split and bleeding somewhat.  OMG I am so not loving it.  I see the dermatologist on Wednesday and that will be for another biopsy (this will be my ear)  and hopefully my biopsy results.  THink good thoughts.  I will find out it I need to continue with the topical chemo.  It is just yucky. I know that it is all just relative but I do not like it anyless. Well, off to head to cheer competion.  This will be the last one for us. As Lindsey is not going to cheer her SR year as she will be in ROP cosmetology program.  ANd that is like a full time job. Have a good one. Liz

 Liz Oh my gosh, I didn't know you were having any medical issues. I am so sorry to hear this. I will be thinking all good thoughts for you always.    Hope all went well with the competion today,by time you read this it will already be over. Have fun with your daughter at cosmetology school. That's what Vanessa did but she took it after she graduated from school. She did graduate early thank goodness. It was all I could do to keep that kid in school. lol Word to the wise... Find someone with a really thick head of hair, that grows fast, for when it comes to the time that she has to use a real person. Just in case she hasn't gotten it down real good. lol No I'm just kidding. I know I was the hair model for Vanessa and boy I was worried, but then again I would watch her with the practice head cutting hair and she always did well.  It's so nice having my own personal  hairdresser at home. I even had to go with her to the state board examination...   WOW THE TENSION THERE WAS UNREAL. BUT THE LITTLE BOGGER PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS. I WAS VERY PROUD THAT DAY. I EVEN COME HOME WITH A GOOD CUT TOO. LOL Oh one more word of warning. If her wrists start to hurt as she is doing this get her to wear the wrists braces.  Vanessa ended up with that carpul tunnel in both wrist from it. She cuts hair only on the side now and Works in a professionals only beauty supply store.  Well not at this moment she is out on dissability caused by her MS and Her back. Now the Dr. wants her to find a different line of work again as the lifting and such has taken it's toll on her back and she has 2 slightly bluging discs in her back along with degenerative disc disease like mommy. Just make sure she has a back up plan, I guess thats a good thing to do for any carrer. Well now that I have typed your eyes right out of your head I will let you go. It's drizzing rain up here....but not worry....my netflix movies came yesterday and I'm in for the weekend.  Anyone have an opinion on "American Gangster"?  My son said he thought was a lot like the "Scarface" story.....I just want to see Denzel!!!!  Ooooh baby!!!!  Anyway, I'll let you know what I think later.

Good Morning J and all the Cali Crew! Happy Saturday to everyone! It is the weekend and right now it is mostly clear and sunny here in San Bernardino.... a beautiful morning! That is predicted to change later this afternoon so get your outdoors stuff done early SoCal peeps! It's off to the support meeting in a bit for D and I. Sorry you are so wrapped up ion the yearbook Janine as you need some time for yourself once in a while.... especially on the weekends for gosh sakes! But it will be done soon it sounds like. Wishing all of California a wonderful Saturday!      

Morning, woke up with a gnarly headache and wasn't helped by my two little ones arguing...already....at 7am.  sheesh. On the agenda for today is taking my kids over the bowling alley on base because my son was invited to a bday party for one of his pre-school buddies. So, I am going to take my girls over there and let them bowl too.  I will not because I just cant afford any more stress, strain, pain, etc on my back. I just think it is getting worse.  I went to PT on Wednesday and I had told him that in the morning my left leg went completely numb, so he put me on traction.  That was NOT a fun experience.  It seemed to help a little that day, but all went to **** the next day.  OY. I am also decidind if I will let my oldest have a friend over tonight so they can babysit my two youngest so that I can go to the base theater and watch Kite Runner.  It was filmed right where Mike is.  It has a pretty heavy story to it, so it is most definetly not something for the kids~ and plus, it will give me some alone time.  We shall see! I tell you what, though, nothing sounds better than just curling up on the couch right now- especially if it starts raining again! Okay, hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday!! hugs to all~ Vicki
