Interesting info on Lap Band for Kaiser patients

I don't know if this has been posted, but, I went to a Pacific Bariatrics meeting last night and Dr. Zorn said they were in "meetings" with Kaiser in the next few weeks to begin (hopefully) doing Lap Band procedures for Kaiser patients through their facility. He said it may take a few months, but things are in the works.

I think that's correct. I heard that through Kaiser's support group (the RD mentioned that).

Our facility in Riverside does say they will refer to Harbor City, however, they made it seem like it is hard to get an appointment out there. So, for those who are patient, they can make the trip to San Diego. It is nice to have options.
