Hi Annabelle, I am so happy for you. Re: the low blood sugar worries, make sure that you ask your doctor about reducing any oral medications you are on. If you are on insulin, you must be very careful to check with your meter often and not inject as much as you did when eating normally. You will have to walk a fine line so be careful. Hopefully that will never be a worry again after surgery!
