Happy Monday to all of you and Happy Prez day for sure!!!

I think everyone should have today off to celebrate something...whadda ya think gang? Quiet day here on the boards....were you all out sucking up the beatiful day around the state? It was gorgeous here in the desert. Pulled out my shorts to wear...the same ones I have worn for the last 3 summers....and guess what? WAY TOO BIG!!!! I am going like what the heck??? Diane said to me last night....and like that is a problem? I am going to see if some of them I can get taken in, but I dunno...they feel a couple of sizes off right now. I am also having the same problem with some of my leather jackets....that super bums me out even worse. I know there is a good leather person right around the corner from me (literally) that my guy who does my pedicures turned me on to. I am gong to take the jackets there and see if they can be altered otherwise I am going to sell them on eBay or something because they were terribly expensive!!! So in spite of not getting any work done on the yearbook yesterday, I had this really great day with Ava again. Jeff and I took care of her, took her shopping at Costco and Trader Joe's.....swear she was an angel(and that is not because she is mine either). Her parents dumped her on my yesterday morning so they could clean house around 10 and they all came over later for the 1st bbq of the year. Jeff's parents and Scott, Ash and Hunter man were here too. A first, I did not take pictures!!! So I have had a fun filled weekend with my babies!!! I can't think of a better time, but today I have to buckle down and work even though it is an extra day off! Sue....I hope you got some much needed Sam and Sue time. I know Sammi's grandparents were just as tickled to have the time with her...give Miss Sami a smooch for me..and tell her that one day I am gonna give her one in person! BTW....does Sammi like Hello Kitty? And how is she doing with the new meds? You have not mentioned it or a while. Vicki....how is your back doing? I know you mentioned you got a referral to the neuro dude. I hope you get an appt soon! BTW....Mike did you good on the flowers....beautiful. What a thoughtful guy. I am sure you are counting the days until you see him....and SUPER GOOD on YOU for making it through the 5 day pouch test, losing 9lbs...that is friggin amazing!!! You keep up the hard work because it is! Lori C (BeautyfromAshes) family and her could really use some extra prayers. If she choose to share why she can, just know that the prayers would be much appreciated. Diane C is having a Total Knee Replacement tomorrow and could use all the positive vibes she can get to make it through relativey pain free as possible. Diane has done an amazing job working her tool, and I know she is going to fly throw this TKR because she is packing less pounds. She is determined and in her own words...."tough as nails"!!! Cheri (MamaHaren) what about that girl gang? She is doing fine.....5 days and 12pds? How cool is that? Proud of you Cheri and I know you are going to work that tool! Chris R....didn't you also get a weekend play grandma and birthdays? I know when my grandkids get older.....I think it is going to make me sad too! I hope you enjoyed the day and party! Luana.....how was work? I can't imagine how you do those 12 hour shifts. My hat is off to you. I know that cruise is keeping it all in perspective for you right now....OMG you are going to have a ball! Make sure you take plenty of pic....less Kevin's underoo shots for us!!!!

Jodi did you do anything special this weekend? I was cracking up about your story with the credit card and your granddaughter....OMG I can just seeing those kind of words spouting out of my own grandkids. I know my younger son use to write stories about his mommy and shopping! Steve where are you? I hope everything is okay and that you are just out enjoy the sunshne. How is your ankle doing these days? DeAnna....looks like all of you had some fun at the coffee get together yesterday...you all looked so great!! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Hey all you SP's you sure are all doing an awesome job of spreading the love to your SP's. I am glad this has been a success so far. I cannot remember the half of things that are going on around here, but know that I care! What is on your agenda's for today? Whatever it is....make it a great day and do something that puts a smile on your face and in your heart! PEACE OUT!!!!!

I'm glad you got to spend more time with your little one, they grow up so f ast. I can't believe on of mine is over 2 and the other one is almost 8 years old. WOW Time sure does fly. As for me and doing anything special, well no not really. Watch and made sure Dave(hubby) put the bathroom cabinet up right then he had to buy 2 swing arm lamps for our bedroom and for my daughters bed room. And of course they are 3 way touch lamps and my daughter bought those expensive 7 year warrenty one way floresencent bulbs, so they don't work right. Dave also had to Get a new Air condintioner for my bedroom. Didn't get it installed but thank goodness we still have a smidge of time left before it gets terrible hot. Other then that I jus****ched the first race of the season The Daytona. So all in all it was rather a quite weekend. But that's ok I like it quite. Hope your feeling better today, You didn't mention if your back was doing any better.

Good Morning!!! I'm glad you all are having a great holiday weekend, unfortuanately mine ended and I am back to work this morning! That's what I get for working in the Transportation Industry. Oh well...........gotta get the payroll out! Yesterday was good while it lasted.it was beautiful up here in the Roseville area. I went shopping and met a girlfriend for lunch, came home and started to work on an art project for my window in my guest bedroom. Did some reading in my WLS for Dummies book, learning a lot from that I must add!!! It Was A Good Day! I guess we'd better enjoy the sunshine while it lasts since the rain is coming back later this week! Have a great one! Jeni

Good Morning all........

I am up drinking coffee and enjoy the peace of morning. To bad that is going to mess up here ina bit when I have to start getting ready for work. UGH!

Work yesterday was nice, and slow. Until about 3 then we picked up bit, but still OK. I just hope today is just as nice as Im training agaig this morning.

I did get to talk to my friend that has been in the hospital for 7 weeks, he got to go home friday and is doing OK. He was very heppy to just be home. His wife was happy about that also, she was getting tried of staying at the hospital. He was so happy about getting a shower, and just standing under the water and let it wash away all that hospital ekk. You know how much better a shower makes you feel after a yuk day? Just think of 7 week of nothing but bed baths, no matter WHO is giving it. So I guess I can understand why he made a big deal about that shower. I am hoping he feels up to a visitor tomorrow.

Not much more to talk about, so I guess I will close for now.

Good Morning Janine and Cali, Today I celebrate my 43rd birthday. I will do this packing and throwing more stuff away. Wesley and I got a ton done yesterday until we ran out of tape and almost trash bags. I hope to have it basically complete today. I do have an IEP to do that is not even started and its wednesday so I guess I will get that done as well. Then I would like to have a nice dinner and I may be getting a new computer compliments of mom. I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend Monica
