Good morning...I am hurting!!!
Cheri,
I totally agree with Darlene! Call your doctor and ask them to call you in a script for liquid vicodin...you will feel so much better, especially at night. The first couple of days home from the hospital the liquid vicodin was a lifesaver...it gets in your system quicker too to relieve the pain.
Hope that helps...next week will be much better...REALLY!
Hey Cheri
Ditto what the others said - liquid vicoden would be better and much easier to take. IT DOES GET BETTER....You will never get in all of the protein and water they require in the beginning - just do as much as you can. Don't over due it - I was like Diane - wanted to sleep on my side so so so bad and it was about 3 weeks for me also - that was the hardest part cause I am a total side sleeper.
You are on your way - just hold on cause its one wild ride that you are going to LOVE.
We are all here for you.
Hugs and hang in there
Well, I have not been through it yet either and my surgery date is awhile off still but, I agree with everyone else. The liquid vicodin sounds like a good idea. As a matter of fact I didnt even know vicodin came in liquid form. Sounds dumb I know but I have never had a use for any kinds of liquid pain meds. Good to know though!!
I know you will feel better and better every day.......it will be so worth it!!
