Welcome home Cheri and welcome to the losers bench.  I'm so glad the surgeon repaired the hernia at the same time as the RNY that way to don't have to worry about going back into surgery.  I'm not sure what the blurred vision is all about but if you are concerned call your surgeon.  He should be able to put your mind at rest.  Also keep in mind that you just had surgery the blurred vision could be from the anestesia (sp?) or the pain medicine, and the fact that you are not eating right now can definately have an affect on you.  But again call your doctor and let him know. Cheri's a LOSER yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Cheeleader Jump Cheeleader Jump Cheeleader Jump

If you are diabetic, sometimes a correction of blood sugar levels can change your vision. You should check with your physician. Good Luck

I'm so glad you're home and the Dr. fixed the hernia!  Yay!

I don't know about the blurred vision, but the feelings of "What have I done?" I can totally relate to!  I was hungry for something other than broth, and started freaking out that I had let someone rearrange my insides.  But believe me, those feelings pass quickly.  I think most everyone would do it again in a heartbeat!

I'm so happy for you!

Welcome home and happy all went well.  I had the blurred vision and still do I went to get my eyes checked after about three weeks out but they told me that my eyes did get a little worse but not that bad I went and got new glasses anyway helps but don't know why we get this.  Also the what have I done I still get it sometimes not as often but get them I think it's because we can't eat what we want and when we want.  Well good luck and happy all went well.

Its called "buyers remorse!"  I've been told that everyone who's had this surgery goes thru it and I did too! Its passed now and I'm only two months out.  As for the blurred vision, I had that too.  I just had to start wearing my glasses all the time instead of just when driving.  I think if you're diabetic before the surgery it has some kind of effect, but don't really know for sure!  So all I can say is GOOD LUCK and Don't FREAK OUT!
