So i have had  my second appt. with the dietitian,Dr.Nppshin it all went well thank goodness.

My next appt is with the psychiatrist, then in Oct I have another appt. again with the dietitian. :) Is anyone where I',m at? My surgery will be in Richmond, with Dr. Sampath. not sure when, I guess and hope after I attend all the meeting and tests. I would love to hear from other people that are going through this around the same time as I am. Thanks for talking the time to read this, and please any advise from anyone that has all ready gone through this, if you find the time I would love to hear all about your journey . Kind regards Kelly

I had been told that MSp doesn't do that... when did they approve you and what was the process?

Thanks!

I think the westcoast bariatric fb site must be secret because i can't find it.  Is it only for Richmond surgery peoples or for victoria as well?

Thanks for the answer, I wondered about the logistics of this.

I wired the deposit as per Gerald, but will be paying the balance by credit card.  I could pay cash, but I don;t like to carry that kind of money with me.  If you are going to use Dr. Joya, contact Gerald and ask him if he has any suggestions.

So exciting, I hope you have a great experience.  I will follow you.  Did you get a loan or have cash?  I know this is personal but I am having trouble with getting the cash together.

I have just received confirmation of my surgery date with Dr Joya as Oct 28th.   It;s a bit scary now that it's a reality, but very exciting as well!

Thanks for all the info, I think I have decided on Dr. Joya also.  I see your posts are old and wonder how everyone is doing and if anyone has had surgery.

Has anyone had surgery done in Puerto Vallarta by Dr. Joya?  I am seeing differences in price of surgery from the quoted $6,500 to $12,000. Anyone know why?  I have only a limited amount of savings and can't afford any surprises.
