Doctor Yorke will be my surgeon, though I was hoping for Sampath. Apparently, he's the best in the province.

Looks like I shouldn't have been scheduled. So they retracted the date. 

Back to waiting...

I am so excited today, I met with Dr. Nguyen and he approved me for surgery...January 23...I am so happy I could cry. Hope everyone is well :)

Things are moving really quickly! I did bone density today. I've done all the blood work. I have a follow-up appointment with the dietitian later this month.

I haven't heard anything about the ultrasound.

No, I didn't - but I suppose it won't be much different than the way I eat normally now anyways.

Yes, me too! is it me or are things moving quickly now? I've had all blood work done and done density test...waiting on ultrasound. Did you happen to get a sample pre-op diet to try for a couple of days?

I first saw the dietitian in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Small goals to work on include meal planning and increasing my fiber.

Oh and veggie intake at lunch and supper!
