This is SO amazing - you have done so well with preop! Best of luck tomorrow and in the next coming while. I wish you a speedy recovery so that you and your new sleeve can start enjoying your new lease on life!!

Hello again MyTurn2012!

I really hope that your surgery went well, and that you are on a quick path to recovery! I remember you saying that you were nervous before surgery. Best wishes and post an update when you are feeling a  better:)

VSG done in Toronto 6 weeks ago. Was a self pay. Gave up on the waiting after 1 year into the process.

surgery and recovery was great.  Someone to talk to about this new life would be nice?

Congrats on your sugery. Wow Toronto was a long way to go. Surgery waits here are so long. It really does seem unfair. Where in B.C. do you live?

Sorry for the late response. Business trip out of town. A challenge by the way to eat on the road.

Toronto was not far for me. Grew up there and its still home......despite that I lived in BC for last 30+ years now.

Got fed up with the wait. Just didn't want another summer as a whale under a tent.

Money I had. health I did not!

Worth every penny to pay for surgery
