Day One

Well, it's Day One of my liquid diet.  I saw the OT, Dr. You and Nooshin on Wednesday and they all said I am doing great.  Dr. You said, "You are amazingly healthy, considering how unhealthy you are!".  I laughed.

So today is Day One.  Last night my sister, her husband and I went to my "Last Supper" and now here I am, on the path to my new life.

Step One...Day One.  I can do it! 

 Good for you!! Is this your pre-op diet?  How long do you have to be on it?

no Halloween candy this year!

 You can do it!!!!  It's absolutely amazing how fast the time will fly by and this liquid diet will be over and you're on your way to surgery.  Be prepared for the gurgly tummy and diarrhea after 1-2 days (wish that someone had warned me about this before hand!!!).

 It really will go so fast.  And each time you are struggling, just remember WHY you are doing it, and how good you will feel in the end!  Congrats!!
