has anybody had gastric bypass with Dr. Nguyen??

 Hi everyone!!

has anyone had gastric bypass with dr Nguyen? he said 'EVERYBODY wants gastric bypass' and that it's different than the old gastric bypass.... does anyone know what he does differently? is it more like the mini gb? or what? inquiring minds want to know lol

Just guessing here but I believe that the differences are in how they do it (laparoscopic instead of open) and I believe a change in where the stomach is attached to the intestines.  I think that it used to be attached much lower and resulted in many more nutritional complications.  Did you ask him to clarify what he meant by that???
