Virginia Mason question

Does anyone know if we get private rooms in Seattle? 
Has anyone had someone stay with them in their room?

I have heard that you do.  If you go to blazeonline or bb.wlsforum.net, you will find others who are awaiting surgery at Virginia Mason and also who have had surgery there recently (in the last two years).

I had mine in Feb 2010, and yes had a private room. I do think some rooms are shared and it depends on cir****tance, i was told specifically i would be in a single room across from nurses station due to me needing to use CPAP machine after surgery and they wanted to montior me closer. I do know of another who shared a room with one other, so think it depends.

I had my own room this past December. I'm not sure if the CPAP common thread is coincidental.
