X-Post: Cheaper protein option in Canada
I was at Great Canadian Superstore this weekend and saw that they now carry their own brand of chocolate and vanilla protein powder with stats comparable to the AllmaxIsoflex tat I usually buy.
It's President's Choice Whey Protein Isolate (They also have a whey blend that is even cheaper).
I tried the Vanilla this morning and I really like it! - 27 grams per serving of protein, 1 carb per serving, sweetened with Splenda, 110 calories - a great profile in my opinion - and it didn't have the nasty protein smell or aftertaste that some products have.
I get very tired of dealing with the clueless bodybuilders who typically constitute what I would only loosely refer to as "customer service" at Popeye's - so I'm VERY happy to have found an economical alternative.
(edited to add carb count)

I typically purchase the DynaWhey that is sold at Superstore. I purchase the bulk of my proeteins and chia seeds, vitamins etc at www.bodyenergyclub.ca/shop/ as I find them to be well priced and they are two blocks away from where I work.
I will try the vanilla that you suggested.
