Hi everyone, sorry I have bee mia for a long time, had my surgery in Seattle one year ago, I am down 100lbs and a very happy camper. I unfortunatley have been without computer, going through sepration and waiting on a new knee as well as making two moves. Whewwwwww
Anyway I am trying to help a friend go through the process and realize things change all the time.
Can anyone tell me who the surgeons for RNY in Victoria are now, when I try on here to get the BC surgeons I get all of the US ones.

Congratulations on your weight loss. Sorry to hear you have been through so much though, hope things get better and you get your knee surgery soon.

There are three surgeons in Victoria, Dr. Malik, Dr. Amson and Dr. Tang, Dr. Amson and Dr. Tang are in the same office. Sleeve and RNY are covered by MSP, lapband is not.

Lapband I believe False Creek Surgical does this but it would be self pay.

Your friend will need a referral through her gp.
